I don't usually look to prescriptive texts when offering a descriptive assessment of linguistic phenomena. But I'll humor you. Miriam Webster's Collegiate Dictionary offers two pronunciations. Yours is given, but then, so is this one: /or-(ə)nj/. This latter pronunciation is the one heard most often in day-to-day speech, while the former is the prescribed "well-articulated" version.

I won't deny that in the most extreme instances of articulatory precision, English speakers will say [ˈoɹɪndʒ]. But such instances are only very rarely encountered. Most descriptive linguists ignore such high articulatory registers because no one actually talks like that, and recording and analyzing normal speech reveals this fact.
