Wow, I guess you did good for playing a pro though:ohwell:
Maybe you should've changed your char once in awhile, because he probably got used to your falcon and found it's weakness( practically recovery and chain throws..)Good matches though

Wow his marth is kinda scary (see 3:03-finish on 1st match) .. o.O

Good attitude/effort on your part though, Korn.

Hey Korn. :)

I've always admired your falcon but I think we have the same issue. It looked like you were a bit aggresive and very light on the mindgames. It appeared that azen was just swatting falcon out of everything. That's not too surprising in a marth vs falcon match but the mind game seemed repetitive. Try not to think too much and you'll surprise even yourself with what comes out.

I noticed a pattern of 1~2 seconds of dash dance then you would approach azen. Whereas azen is just waiting and counting on that. If you can fake some approaches more often, that will score you the openings. :) Always easier said than done, I know. haha. :chuckle:

Your mom's bedroom.
Advice: If ur Marth, DO NOT get into the air against Isai. He will combo the sh#t out of you when you're in the air. Your best bet are wavegrabs and uptilts. Don't fall for the mindgames, don't get in the air, avoid being thrown. Simple as that. You didn't do too bad though. It's simply very difficult to play well against Isai.

Thanks :D
Yeah I completely understand the feeling. (I managed to get a couple games in with ken at neweggs lanfest and it felt the same way lol) :( Just gotta work on making sure he doesn't know what you're going to do.

I know it's really hard to shake the "It's azen" or "it's a pro" mentality but I really think that would help as well. Don't underestimate yourself vs anyone for that matter. I've watched quite a few of your videos and you've got a sick falcon going. :D I've learned quite a bit from those myself to be perfectly honest.

Just take a deep breath, watch what they do, and focus on remembering how they react to certain approaches. That's all it really comes down to, he just did that better due to tons of experience. Before you know it, you'll have a huge library in your head of appropriate responses to specific play styles and movements. Eventually you'll just start reacting without even thinking about it too much. As soon as it stops working, start thinking again. ;p

It sounds a bit odd saying "slow down a bit" to falcon but seriously consider it. It has helped me vs marth players a lot actually. You got him next time. ;)
