I recently got an email saying that Walt Disney Pictures is looking for an student representative at the University of Texas at Austin for this upcoming school year. Naturally I jumped right on this opportunity--being able to spread word of upcoming Walt Disney (including Pixar) films would be an amazing experience, and if you know me personally, you know I already do this without pay!

I figured I'd go ahead and post my cover letter for you all to read. The hardest part of writing this was keeping my letter to a mere page; I can easily write pages upong pages about my love for animation and Walt Disney. Hope you enjoy it!

Wow, that was a great letter! If I worked for Disney I think I'd hire you in an instant. Because of your love of the company and the fact that you loved Princess and the Frog.

Seriously, Disney, more traditional animation please!

That's an amazing opportunity. I'm not sure if the first sentence of the last paragraph is supposed to be the way it is, but it seems like it's not a real sentence. Maybe you meant something like, "Attached you will find a copy of my resume," or maybe I'm just reading the sentence with the wrong emphasis. Also, this is personal preference, I wouldn't all caps the "EVERYTHING" in the third sentence. It's just a personal preference though, and how I've been taught with respect to formal writing.

Sorry for nitpicking, I just figured that while it's I might as well help if I can. It's a glowing letter, it really is. I'm not always a fan of Disney on it's own, but I love (LOVE) Disney-Pixar (oh, another thing is that you might want to say Disney-Pixar instead of Disney/Pixar. The / might be read as "I own every Disney and Pixar DVD" or "I own every Disney DVD and Pixar DVD." Again, personal preference) movies. I think they're all amazing. Up was incredible, and TS3 looks to be brilliant. I really hope you get the internship, it would definitely be an amazing experience.

and im surprised their animation department is back up and running...however OP you should still consider your other options seeing as how disney DID shut down its animation studio once before
