I stopped watching when after the first season the second season is when it went downhill. I havn't played a pokemon game since gold and silver.

Personally, I don't exactly see the attraction to Munchlax. Sure, he's popular, but other than that, what? I don't think he's that cute of a pokemon. (then again, I think Cubone(my personal fave) is strangely adorable) I admit to having a certain attraction to the idea of a character having Metronome as a move(does a random character's Side-B. Thats a solid gameplay mechanic. The other effects, eh.), but then Jigglypuff can learn Metronome, so you could easily replace "pound" with "Metronome" somewhat painlessly (IMO, I don't want Jigs fans all over me).
So what is the attraction to Munchlax, in plain terms, why do his supporters support him so strongly. Is it merely that you know he's the most popular, thus he has the highest chance, or is it something I can't really understand? Enlighten me.

B Stockpile/Spit Up: A fast charge, once charged you press B again & Munchlax will spitup, shooting a beam of energy from his mouth, if you hold B down while shooting, you can use the control stick to alter the angle.
B + > Metronome Punch: Randomly chooses between either Fire,Ice,Thunder,Shadow,Dizzy or Comet Punch. Fire effect is similar to pk fire, Ice frezees depending on damage, Thunder makes the target unable to move for .5 seconds then aplies damage, shadow is a longer range punch (twice the range, leavs dark burn) dizzy switches the targets controls around (left is right, right is left) & comet punch deals good damage but knoks back the enemy quite a bit.
B + ^ Hidden Power: Some orbs start spinning around munchlax, then he goes straight up, can be controlled fairly easaly & may turn midair.
B + V Bounce: The key to Munchlax playing is this attack, munchlax trhows himself to the ground, if the B button is presed right when munchlax touches the ground, he will bounce, use stick to alter the angle, big aerial combat for munchlax & he gains speed by doing this (each bounce a bit faster depending on angle) Some impressive bounce/punch combos could be done, munchlax should become quite aerial.

Deoxys will get in brawl, he is incredibly unique, being the only pokemon (that i know of) to have diferent moves, also hes the mewtwo of the 3rd generation, besides im sure they will fix mewtwo anyway...

No. There's a very good reason why Deoxys and all of his forms are BANNED from standard competitive play while Snorlax is not. A Superpower from attack Deoxys will 1-hit Snorlax and his ****ty 65 base defense, not to mention Deoxys' crazy speed.

you can make deoxys stronger by swithching it to a different game and teaching it moves from other forms and then switch it to another game to change its form and reset its stats
i.e. emearld speed learn extreme speed trade to firered attack high attack with extreme speed(Max Attack+ Max Speed=instant KO)

Snorlax is a stats tank you can only OnehitKO him with Fissue, Chill, & others 1hko attacks

You honestly dont have a clue about competitive pkmn gaming, deoxys is normaly a 1 attack maybe 2 hitter, hes normaly a starting pkmn in the uber metagame, but he dies imediatly once mewtwo, mew or jirachi get in the field.
while snorlax is a full tank, hes even used against uvers in the Uber metagame. hes at the top 10% pkmn.

whateber this is slightly off topic so i will say I do not support Munchlax *coughwhostealspokeblocksfromothertrainerscough* but i am not against him either. If he makes it than that is fine but their are other pokemon who i would like to see in Brawl more than munchlax *coughdeoxyscough*
