There really aren't many other characters to put in though. Maybe Espio, Charmy, and Cream, but they all have roles in these games already. I personally like Sticks, as do a lot of others. So I don't see anything wrong with putting her in. The stigma of Rise of Lyric shouldn't be attached to her (especially since she barely had a role in that game).

I think for me it's that I don't attach the stigma of Sonic Boom that much to Sticks, but it's just me personally not finding Sticks that interesting. Sure, it's fine if Sticks is in, but I just prefer other characters to fill that role of a playable character. I think Charmy could fit since Charmy shares a few similarites with Sticks. They both have a high pitched voice (mainly Charmy), they can both be kinda dumb at times, and they have a certain appeal to them. I kinda don't like Charmy though. Still, I'd prefer Charmy over Sticks

What I do find odd is how some people don't like Sticks in the game mainly because she bares a resemblance to Marine the Raccoon. It's a really dumb reason I heard on Game FAQ, but others think it's because she's "too new". Kind of a dumb point since Nabbit, and Zazz (unconfirmed) are in.

That's something I'll definitely give Sticks. She's is very funny at times.

I didn't have that many issues with the Digital Event personally, it wasn't as good as the last two years but its hard to top Mario Kart and Smash.

My favourite anouncement was easily the new Mario & Luigi game, I love every single one of them and I did enjor Paper Mario and the thousand year door as well as Super Paper Mario (I haven't played the other two).

I hope to see Rosalina in the new Mario Tennis and Mario & Sonic, with 4 new Sonic characters, It seems likely we will get 4 of each, one for each class.

Makes me wonder what class they will be?

Rouge I think would be all round
Sticks as Skill maybe?
Leaving Zazz as Power

For Mario, I think it would be very awesome if Rosalina was a Power character, I've always thought that she would be skill, but thinking about it, She's a heavy character in the Mario Kart games knocking her weight around, and she's the second strongest hitter in Mario Golf.

Rosalina as Power
I was thinking Birdo as all round, but then I remembered she had been deconfirmed. If we're going to have another female around, I think possibilities include

Super Mario Maker looks stupidly fun, I love level creators, and I have made LOADS in both Brawl and Smash4 (I like to theme a stage around each character)

I'll probably do the same in Mario Maker, at least to the best of my abilities.
I really hope the Koopalings turn up though, it just seems wrong to have Bowser Jr but not the Koopalings. Even if they just follow their SMB3 ai or NSMBW first fight ai.

New Zelda looks alright but a little gimmicky

New Star Fox looks amazing, but I use offscreen TV a lot so it does lower its value for me.

New Metroid game needs A LOT more stuff added to it before I consider getting it, specifically something to actually make it Metroid. Where's Samus?

I don't about Animal Crossing, and that Party knockoff looks absolutely pathetic.

New Fire Emblem looks cool.

Wooly World we've seen plenty of.

I have no interest in Skylanders, but it does make me wonder about the possibility of Spyro in Smash.

Star Fox allows you to switch the cinematic and cockpit views between the two screens on the fly.

Wii U Animal Crossing isn't just a board game, there is more to it.

FAST Racing Neo is basically an indie developed F-Zero style game with graphics that wouldn't look out of place on PS4.

All stuff that was talked about/shown on the Treehouse.

Yep. Or... I think. At least, between languages, but the french European Rosalina community gives two of her names: "Harmonie et Luma" (french from France one) and "Rosaline & Luma"... I think that the second one is sensed to be her quebecois name, but it's actually RosalinA... They did a similar thing on the Smash website with Palutena.

Harmonie is indeed her name from France, but the Québec version is still Rosalina, they just did a mistake right there. But in the French Canadian manual of Mario Galaxy 1, Rosalina is the same and Lumas are Chikos. However in Smash when you put it in French (Canada) Chiko is Luma. Confusion ensues.

From what I can recall, there is no sweetspot for Rosalina's f-smash. It'll always deal the same amount of damage when used fresh. The Luma's f-smash, however, does have two different hitboxes, which either sends opponents flying sideways, or more vertically.

Her down Smash hitbox is quite fair, not big nor small, it doesn't really have a huge knock on Rosalina, but Luma does. And you can trap you opponents if you consistently down smash your opponents around when Rosalina and Luma are at a fair distance.

Edit: Her forward isn't that great if there's no Luma, if she has a Luma on her side. The knockback is really big.
