I don't think it ruins it at all, it looks really nice actually. Calming and graceful, yet sad. Especially if it was in the painterly colouring style of the M&L RPGs.

Another alternative, to differentiate, is make her whole eye the colour of her iris. And in either case, they could have starry sparkles in her eyes.

Errr... better not...

1 of Rosalina's most prominent features is her only visible Eye , a tourquise bright eye ... and Black would ruin her look IMO.

Yeah , i can see that as possible solution , yet Rosalina's eyes are unique.

She is the only Major Mario character that shows 1 eye and not only that ; She is the only one with Tourquise eyes.

Mario , Luigi , Peach and Daisy , all have Deep blue eyes.

Wario and Waluigi have tiny black eyes.

So i'm not sure about removing the color because i feel that it would take away a very important part of her desing as opposed to the Mario and Luigi characters.

You know, the hate for Mario Tennis on Nintendo's YouTube channel is really unwarranted. Nothing about the game looks bad per say, but it doesn't show a lot, so it looks meh right now. Plus, I know people wanted a Mario Strikers game (I did too), but Next Level Games was actually working on the crappy "Metroid" game. I'd say to people don't get angry at this game because there wasn't Mario Strikers (Mario Tennis isn't made by Next Level Games). They should get upset at Next Level Games for making the Metroid game instead of Mario Strikers.

Yeah. Judging this by the fact that it's a Tennis game they are probably gonna reuse all the voices again.

It could be a ''Demo'' thing, but Smash 4 says otherwise.

If Rosalina is playable she is probably going to be the Only character with a New recorded voice .... or Nintendo can go around it again and reuse Kerri Kane's voice.

Both scenarios are more than likely.

Nah, 2014 E3 wasn't really the biggest year... 2014 was the first E3 I watch live. 2013 E3 was the first time that I had start to pay attention on E3.
Nintendo's best E3 was probably when they announce the Wii. And one they announce Melee.
So yeah, I guess the most hyped E3 for Nintendo are mostly the year when they announce either Smash Bros or a new console(except Wii U...).

2014 was the biggest year at E3, considering that it was the year for Smash Bros., and there was Splatoon's demo as well. I wasn't expecting E3 2015 to be that impressive in the Wii U department, as most of the Wii U big titles were covered last year.

I wasn't expecting E3 2015 to match E3 2014 for Nintendo, but I expected at least two or three new Wii U titles to look forward to besides Star Fox, by Spring 2016. We didn't get any though.

To be fair, Super Mario Maker and Yoshi's Woolly World were what caught my interest, and they were revealed long before E3 2015 even began.

I'm sure they will reveal more games and info a few months after E3, just like how they did last year's October, they reveal New 3DS on August rather at E3, and it's even during a Japanese only Nintendo Direct.
I just want to say, don't give up your hopes so soon.

True, but that's better than nothing. Us Luigis are so inactive that there are MU threads that doesn't even get a coin that our mod decided to just discontinue them.

Speaking of Paper Jam (New M&L game), after I watched the trailer... I feel that yes, Rosalina has low chance on getting in IMO. The whole story doesn't really focus on galaxies or space, and the whole story will be mostly centered around Mario, Luigi, and Paper Mario (Where the hell is my Paper Luigi!?). Looks like they reused Dream Team sprites, lookin' good as always there AlphaDream.

Rosalina in M&L sytle... seem right to me. I'm perfectly fine with her black eyes (In truth, I liked Mario and Luigi to just have black eyes), but if they decided to be trollish and gave her her usual eyes I'd be fine too. IMO, Mario, Luigi, and Bowser look better with black eyes. But that thing they have done with Luigi in the first 3 games... black emblem and that stripped socks... not really looking good. While she likely won't appear, I'd love to see her design if they manage to make one. Just don't strip her appearance like they did with SS, PiT, and BiS Luigi!

I don't really like giving out misinformations because I'm basically the king of using imagination. I will contribute if I feel I have known both characters well enough (Mario, Rosalina, Ganondorf, Falcon, I know these characters well. But count me out on DHD, Ryu, Roy, Lucas, etc). Other side of reason I don't post is because laziness.

Rosalina in M&S at Rio 2016 seem guaranteed enough. 2 Mario character left to fill up the newcomers, it HAS to be Rosalina (Unless they somehow added Shy Guy or Koopa Troopa... I mean, who else that can take priority over a goddess?).

It'd be cool to have her in M&L though... Space travelling looks fun (Imagine the endless potential) in Mario and Luigi sytle.

Actually, we have four Sonic girls in the game - Sticks the Badger (from Sonic Boom) was confirmed playable in the latest E3 trailer.

I think Rosalina is a lock at this point, since we have four new Sonic characters (Rouge, Jet, Zazz, Sticks), yet only two new Mario characters (Diddy and Nabbit) so far. And we have four Sonic girls as opposed to two Mario girls so far. Combined with the fact Rosalina is part of the main cast now, and they've already put her in Mario Golf and Mario Party, I think she's a safe bet.

I wonder if they will put in a fourth Mario female, though. Maybe Pauline?

If that's what they are gonna do , then i place my bets on either Birdo , Toadette or even Dixie Kong since sadly , Pauline is too irrelevant at the moment.

If they are going to add 2 Mario characters (mixed not just girls) , is probably going to be Rosalina + a WTF character that nobody is expecting or a a common enemy.

I wouldn't count her out based on that. Outside of Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Sticks, and Eggman, they haven't really done much with any other "major" Sonic characters for years (except for a few of them being in Sonic Generations). Pauline has at least made appearances in a few things, one of them being quite recent.

Frankly, I feel like Sonic Boom shouldn't even be represented, as it's a rather lousy spin-off series to begin with. I never even bothered playing the Sonic Boom games at all.

The cartoon is really good, and Shattered Crystal was on OK game. Fire & Ice looks like it will be improvement.

Same here, but I still agree with @ Mario & Sonic Guy on not having Sonic Boom represented. I'd prefer a different character from the Sonic franchise rather than Sticks.

There really aren't many other characters to put in though. Maybe Espio, Charmy, and Cream, but they all have roles in these games already. I personally like Sticks, as do a lot of others. So I don't see anything wrong with putting her in. The stigma of Rise of Lyric shouldn't be attached to her (especially since she barely had a role in that game).
