ok, here are the open dates

Open dates
1. june 2 right after evoeast
2. june 30 right after evonorth
3. july 7 right before fc
4. july 21 right after fc

ranked in terms of most preferable


we want to do june 2 because only a few people are going to evoeast, and those people would have no problem going to a tourney the weekend after it.

june 30 is second choice because of the same thing, but might not get the same amount of tournout because noobs might not want to do a tourney the weekend after one they just attended

the fc dates are awful, considering almost no one will go to a tourney after fc. however, if we had to choose wed host it before in hopes that people would come for practice before fc.

please let us hear your ideas

I think it would be a pretty good idea to do it right before FC because correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t it in Indiana/ If so it might attract some out of staters because of how close it is to fc.

unless theyre going to stay for the week, then it probably wont attract anyone coming from far away, because then theyll need to make a similar trip 2 weekends in a row.

Which gamestop? I know people who work at the palatine store. I used to work at the Gamestop in arlington heights by the dunkin donuts. I held a tourney there, twice. Not that any GOOD players showed up. >_>

And by that, I mean they were all like kids 11 and under. I think there was a grand total of 6 hardcore players... or at least players who understood the word "wavedash" and "'A' button".

I will be in school during the summer, because I am co-oping (paid internship) right now. I will have a crap-ton of homework (as is to be expected with my major) and I will still probably be there. No Johns about finals if you are in high school, because high school exams are easier than level 1 Luigi's compared to college. So man up, study hard the week before the tournament, and ace that shiznat. For rizzah.
