i was thinkinking this pkmn trainer is red from red version do you think that, that means there could be other trainers from the other reigions.....for ex

right now its red, and has char, bulb, and squirt (just ignore that last one) how about there could be the trainer from silver/gold and has cinaquil, bayleaf, and crocanah (fogot the name of last one) then the hoen trainer with combustian, and thoes other two....then sinoh and so on....
and for their names, well mabe we could make them up just like the games....im i making sense to you guys?

ya prbably besides the more them the more trouble it would for me (pikachu) to escape from them lol but i do like the color idea i mean what if all 4 players are pkmn trainers though and is all fighting thats the main reason i said that more trainers idea.. come on 4 charzards things would heat up quick lol(that was cheezy.)

Ok if you want a separate trainer with 3 Pokemon for each generation, hell no >.< That whould just be an absolute overload of Pokemon characters in comparison to all the other franchises, dare I say more than Mario. There's just no way I could see that happening.

As a costume change, there would be an INCREDIBLY miniscule chance if you were going by starters, purely for the fact that I believe, judging by Charizard's wings, that Charizard would be able to fly (the kind of thing Metaknight did in, I think it was the Nintendo World trailer?) or have multiple jumps, something the majority of starters from other generations are lacking. The only way I could see that sort of thing working is if the other generations were firstly only a costume, and secondly used different Pokemon other than that generation's starters to fill the gaps in the movesets.

And if Charizard can't fly/glide/jump multiple times with those **** wings... well... Sakurai will be experiencing some "accidents"...

I think the only other PT there will be is a female PT costume change. There would be no change in pokemon though.

That wouldn't work because Chickarita in already a pokeball... Well i guess that doesn't mean anything because of pika and pichu...Oh well we don't need several trainers staking up that much memory...

Edit: I wondr if you changing you costume changes the pokemons color? Because they already have pikachu costumes as pikachus as different colors and not hats...

this is rediculous that people are blasting the pokemon trainer saying that you want more interesting characters and they need to be more creative.

i think this update is one of the most awesome updates yet because it brings a totally new feel to the game, and smash bros. is supposed to bend/break the rules of action platformers and singleplayer games in general.

and you guys won't play the trainer, and i can't wait till some ppl find some broken a** s**t about the trainer and woop up on the metaknights and snakes. well i hope anyway, haha

The only other trainer I can see is the FR/LG female trainer as like an alternate model, kind of like a throwback to the fact you can choose your gender in the games, and I assume wouldn't be too hard to implement seeing as the pokemon trainer doesn't seem to have that many actions.

I doubt we'll see any other generation trainers though, seeing as they have their own starter pokemon which are far too different from Squirtle, Ivysaur and Charizard, and I seriously doubt we're going to get 12 different movesets made for one character.

It would be cool if these other trainers were alternate costumes. But that is unlikely because it would be a waste of developing time and it's also listed as "Pokemon Trainer" not Red Trainer.

There should be 4 diferent trainers and 12 diferent pokemons.

I think for alternate costumes, there should be the guy and girl from FR/LG, the Girl from Sapphire, and the Guy from D/P, (Second gen people are fugly) with NO CHANGE OF POKEMON. Except perhaps color.
