summer is coming
why the hell do girls need to wear pieces of string as shirts and shorts that are shorter then my boxers?

why do they feel the need to have 75% of their boobs hanging out. its pathetic.

im not the kind of guy to look at a girl and be like dam she looks good

matter of fact i dont even like to look at girls because the only thing that comes out is sexual thoughts because of how little clothing they wear. like you look at a girl, either her butt shoots to your eyes or her boobs. because theyre trying to show it off to everyone.

its so stupid tho. a half decent guy would look at a girl that wears clothes like that and want nothing to do with her. i would be afraid to go out with someone who dressed like that cuz then whats gonna stop guys from coming to talk to her to get a closer look or try to cop a feel? not much

if i can wear baggy clothes and not sweat and be comfortable during the summer, im sure a girl can to.

it just makes me mad how girls just go around showing everything off like that. they have hardly no self respect for themselves.

like this one time a kid on our bus was touching my ex girlfriends legs, and she would say stop but not move his hands off. she would SCREAM stop and do nothing about it. and he was like come on girl you know you like it, and i was right behind them watching and i was like nah i cant let it go on. so i told the kid i was like yo she said stop, back up. and he was like ok man

and later she walked up to me saying thanks for yelling at him and i was like, have some respect for yourself and she asked me if i wanted to get pizza with her and i was like naaahh

but yea, girls+ summer time isnt good. for a guy who trys to keep his mind clean, away from thoughts that shouldnt be there, about girls that arent his girlfriend, its freaking terrible.

Ah, summer . . . the time of year where not only the temperature goes up, but so do the sexual tensions.

Girls wearing skimpy outfits has become the norm for summer apperal, but the extent it's sometimes taken to is kinda appalling. Some of the clothes might as well be two pieces of cloth sewed together. A lot of girls wear such clothes because the media sells the idea of that's how to dress, blah blah blah. There's no stoppin' it and it'll only grow. Some girls want the attention while others just want to fit in. Whatever the reason, we just gotta live with it. I may dislike it, but the majority of guys enjoy it.

I gotta agree with Jona. Especially being in a relationship, it can be pretty revolting when you take a look around. Still being in high school, it's the same here... just the girls are like 15, not 25... -_-

i also wanted to say that the real problem is with girls that actually have a body. you know like noticable curves. girls that dont have those curves dont really need to cover whats not there. but the girls that do have it try to let them be as exposed as possible.

girls that have curves should try to cover up more because their the ones that need to do it.
like my girlfriend will ask me whats good for her to wear because she knows i hate the whole showing off your body look. shes pretty curvy and i always make sure shes covered up. last thing i need is a scum bag to come up and try to touch her. cuz i dont know about where some of you guys live, but were i live, they try to do that all day long.

i always gotta be watching my girlfriend because if not she'll tell me something i dont wanna hear.

Edit: Eh, I'll give you a serious reply since you seem to actually feel something towards this.

Simply put, this isn't new. This has been going on for quite a few decades now. And to be honest with you, I was just as confused as you were when I saw the kind of blatant disregard for covering up I've seen. I know girls with curves that have been molested before and when I see them I have to keep telling them to close their legs because I can see their "lines" if you know what I'm refering to.

And I've asked my questions as well. Why no self-respect? Why no adherence to safety? And the replies I've been given have ranged from they're being flattered by random guys noticing them, used to the treatment and therefor an average occurence, and the simple fact that it's going to happen anyway regardless of my outfit so I can't prevent it.

It's skewed logic. Sometimes it's deceit, sometimes a girl would rather have someone rather than no one, sometimes it's pure ignorance (though seldom). Girls, or rather I should say people, will exploit every avenue of their abilities to garner the favor of others. It's in our natures to crave attention and by extension, love. Whatever route we take to get to that destination doesn't really matter to most of us.

And we're impatient too. A girl is willing to gamble on whoever is noticing her being a "good" guy rather than waiting it out to find the "one". Likewise, they could also be *****es that like the attention or they could be straight up floozies. It's different in a lot of cases but the fact remains that all they want is attention.

Guys want it too. Don't tell me the majority of guys work out because they think it's fun. It's boring as hell.

But yeah...

I didn't intend for this post to make it out to seem that all scantly-clad women are floozies. But the attention aspect remains. Even if it is just for one person.

Edit 3: And a lot of those girls do have self-respect (but a lot of them don't too!) otherwise they wouldn't be showing off the majority of their bodies.

Before I begin, understand that I'm speaking more as a 'guy down the street' than I am a fashion critic.

It's not so much about wearing what they want, Killjoy, but more of why they want it. I've little doubt that he's addressing what I suppose we'll refer to as the 'stereotype'; the girl who feels they need to follow the mainstream trend and wear popular (and in this case exposing) clothing, more out of the need for acceptance than for expression of personality and personal taste. The person who's only consideration is how attractive they look - not exactly who it is they look attractive to, and for what purposes. Speaking as a guy, if I've an interest in someone, then I want to get to know them as a person and not what tone their skin is underneath their jeans - dressing scantily gives the impression that she's not interested in that, and wants something a little more 'exciting'. And there the two of us would have a conflict of interest. See what I mean?

I understand this is all ultimately opinionated, but I personally find it hard to argue that dressing skimpy doesn't give an undesirable impression.

Not sure if anyone's already said this yet, but from what I've seen at my school, the girls who dress like that are total sluts and you don't want to be with them anyway.
