I.Welcome back, kids. Sorry for the delay, but Montage is back with their Fourth event this year, and we're going to make it our biggest, yet! With event sponsorships from Bawls, and mark ups from a few other places, we'll start the Summer off the way it should be started. We've found this game hasn't reached it's full potential, yet, so I want to see some new faces, and some new characters! Grab your johns, and get ready for the best hottest event of the Month!
II.Disclaimer: There will be no fighting, threatening, or anything of the like allowed. No warnings, no nothing. You do it, you're done. Trash Talk, and other things are not only fine, but encouraged. (Keep is tasteful.) If you think I'm bluffing, just ask around.
As for trash talk: We've had a few kids taking it overboard. I will be calling technical fouls on players, if I see fit. 2 fouls and you're DQ'd from the current event. Three fouls, and you're GONE. Plain and simple.
III.This time, we're going to have separate Stage rules for Singles and Doubles. It's extremely hard to camp on small stages when there are four people, so new stage rules are in effect. As always, if you have a say, and you aren't a moron, please leave your input!
IV. Venue: 3499 Rt 1 South

V. Brawl Rules!
- Matches will be THREE (3) Stock, Seven minute time limit.
- Double Elimination. All matches will be 2/3, with all finals being 3/5.
- No pools, educated seeding.
- Items will be off, while team attack will be on! Life stealing is allowed.
- Smashballs will be OFF.
- Each player may ban up to two counterpick Stages, OR one neutral. Not both.
- Advanced Slob picks: First match is a blind pick, where the competitors will tell their character to a judge, a proceed. The Loser of the first match will then pick the next stage, then the winner may choose his character. After, the loser will choose his character and begin. The same will happen for the third match, if forced.
- No stage may be played twice in a single set.
- The Mage's DQ rule is also in effect:
2 Minutes Late ? Warning/Loss of first stock
4 Minutes Late ? Loss of first match of set
6 Minutes Late ? Loss of set) - All standing infinites are BANNED.
- Due to an incident last time, any excessive running will be a warning. If you're found stalling excessively after that warning, you will lose the game you're in. If three times you are called from this, you will be disqualified from said event. This may only happen if a judge bears witness to the happenings, and calls it. You may not go about this yourselves. If you feel this is happening, have someone call a judge. If you are found crying Wolf on this (Or Snake. lulz) you will receive the warning in the other players stead. Three warnings will be a loss of a game.
Crew's Rules!
- All entering crews must have Four (4) to Five (5) members.
- This event will be round robin for 2-6 crews, or bracket style if more. Brackets will be double elimination.
- Each crew must distribute the stocks as evenly as possible. A team of five will be awarded three stocks a piece, while a team of four must have the members play out with four stocks, with one having three. They can be used in any order.
- Each crew will select a member to go first and tell a judge, and then those players will play match on on random.
- The Stage rules will be used for Crews.
- The crew who's member lost the previous match may select any remaining member to continue. That person has the option of selecting any available stage, and giving his opponent the option of Changing characters, or electing to go random. If the losing team's representative chooses Random, the winner from the previous game must stay their current character.
- The winner from the last round must SD until s/he has reached the amount of lives s/he had in the previous match.
- Once the winner has reached the amount of stock, the game may begin. The two-second invincibility frames from the last respawn may be used.
- When one crew has exhausted the other crews stock, they are considered the winner.
Patience is a virtue. Stalling is a Crime.
