i get a lot of practice....recently me and kenny played quite a few times i only took a month off i feel better im excited for smash again kinda....the urge to play is slowly but surely coming back to me.

I have discovered the secret to DI

it means I need to use the c-stick a hell of a lot more and practice

... eh... not to burst you're bubble, but c-stick DI is only so-so, it does have it's uses but it is not at all the secret to DI

i know i won't explain this right so someone fix me, but bascially you get like one movement thing out of the c-stick and that's it

to DI things like peach's forward throw or dsmash for example, it's all about using the joystick, you have options like holding up or trying to smash the stick up at the moment the move hits so that you smash DI the hit which is stronger then just holding it in a direction

this concludes my crappy discription of DI

lol, I didn't mean that as the exclusive secret to DI

it's just a general alteration to my playstyle, learning to use the c-stick at the right times

hey look, that guide is a lot more comprehensive then my little crappy knowledge

but still, it pays a lot lot lot more to work on normal DI then it does to deal with c-stick DI at your skill level

although again, someone feel free to correct me if i'm wrong

my DI is hella better now as far as recovering goes, but i still kinda suck at getting out of combos.

i bet my DI is better

he's DI is not that good to begin with so him knowing more isnt helping him (no offense mccain) but i watched you play at Jr's and werent DI'ing right out of combos, and i know kenny can back me up on this cuz we talked about this yesterday and he has the tapes.

Edit:

im not going to change what i said. but i wouldnt be shocked if Mccain's DI has gotten a whole lot better but in the time in which i seen him play i feel that my DI is/was better.

i got a bad grade lol so its doubtful that i will be able to go to davis, i gotta start looking for a job and a summer class to take

if i do go to davis i'll only know on a last minute decision like always cuz it depends on if my parents will let me drive there, or if they will allow me at all
