if i can make it to the san jose NCB this weekend, i'll let all the people know about the modesto tournament next weekend. it'll be great if i can make it to both tournaments haha.

i might bring some poster paper for some house rules and bracket display.

good luck with confirming some people from socal. if you confirm some people from better crews (baysian, deep norcal, dbr) then socal will have more initiative to come. right now, though, it seems unlikely. we still have two weeks to get this rolling. otherwise, this will just be a fairly large norcal tournament with huge central valley attendance.

people chillin at CLiX and who just happen to see the poster and attend might be fun too. new people are nice to meet, and free pot money = taking candy from a baby LOL. cruel, but true, and it's happened all too many times. maybe we should post one of those flyers up on the many bulletin boards both on east/west campuses at MJC? since the venue is confirmed, advertising would be good all over the place.

hes pretty good. out of like 8 times he was able to beat my sheik once. then i found out he just adapted to my character and played with a lot of extra priority attacks... so i switched to falcon and 4-stocked him as a result of his change in playstyle.

Also, on a random note, I'm going to be asking for help with supplies.

The rent a center thing is still unsure, so I'm going to have a list for that, anything you guy's can bring would help a lot, and if we end up not needing them, we could always leave them in a car or somethin

but since this change happened anyway, i have a question:
do we have to pay anything to use the venue? or are they just letting bring a bunch of stuff (tv's and cubes) in and use it? because i remember when we reserved TGE for a night, we paid 240$. but it was an all-nigher smashfest, this is just a daytime tournament, so i guess we wont be charged. can you enlighten me on that issue?

shouldnt they just take some out of the pot cuz there is gunna be alot of money cuz its like what 40ppl so thats like $320 idk my math may not be that great
