I'm a Modesto/Emeryville Brawler (Going to school in Emeryville atm, usually come down on weekends) and hoping that you have more of these tournaments in the future. I can't make the one you have listed here (spending time with my daughter, and no, i'm not 40) because I would love to Brawl against other people besides my two roomates. Anyway, good luck to you all today and hope to catch you all at a later time.

I dunno if ill be playing Ike/Marth next brawl tournament. But who knows, understanding the tier system of this game is tough. Ike is too fun to play though.

Good stuff guys, that was pretty fun. That was a pretty crazy match at the end between us Choknater, really well played. I plan to get better with Sonic for the next time. I think I should have practice a little before hand lol. Wasn't expecting to see that many good ppl.

MELEE IS SO FUN...

i got my car back guys...
the dude who stole it wasted all the gas...
and blew out my tire runnin' from the cops...
and that lil butt nugget was wearing some shoes that i left in the trunk...
it's gonna take some work and money to be able to drive again...

but when i can drive again, i will be posting like a madman for someone to play me smash

i learn everything quickly

just look at the results... everyone who played melee for a long time is scattered all over the numbers. even brandon who is like the smartest player i know, he was unprepared (though i think he could be amazing if he sticks with a character.)

i just tried to get as good as i could as fast as i could, using everything i learned from melee and applying it to learn dedede ^_^

Lol i was sooo incredibly close to beating Mick, but I did the stupidest thing.

We were both very high percentage, and without thinking I SWITCHED , like point blank in front of him, and he was just waiting for my poor squirtle to come out to get *****, lmao.

Next time I will get you mick!

Never played a good olimar so we will see.

i ate a chalupa for the first time last week

they are really good.

here are some of my opinions on modesto smashers that i have played

dotey - excellent

mick - pretty good, naturally has good strategies but doesn't pull them off perfectly.

jamie - likes to be flashy as usual, but still has a very nice rob

anthony - good diddy, brawl transition has actually helped him, could be a lil more creative though

kim - really good strategies with ike and lucas, but needs to step it up as far as mindgames go

brandon - scary if he actually finds a main

chalupa - didnt get to play in singles but nice pokemon trainer, work on ivy and char cuz your squirtle looks good

oni - pretty impressive, keep it up, except i'm sorry but hammers > swords



and yeah guys, step it up cuz dotey is wonderful. learn how to break through toon's projectiles and combo's, you good melee players should already know how to fight against spam. dotey doesnt even spam that much (but when he does, he is fairly good at it) and yeah

he's talented, that's why he got into stanford LOLLLL by the way congratulations

but probably the most difficulty i have had with beating anyone is jackson yang's metaknight
