camp training retreat for friday/saturday

WTF your IC's are very good.....there very hard to handle you kept one stocking me with ease like i would get lucky and kill you a few times....but thats respectable that you want to make them your best before tourneys...even tho your IC's are better than you ddd in my opinion

yeah its true, i really want more practice before entering a tourney
even if they are pretty good, i know there is much more potential to be brought out of them

Yeah I seen those vids too. I can grasp the concept of the forward chain grabs and the down thrown spike combo. And dysncing in general envolves alot of dashing. weird stuff. Ice Climbers are too crazy for me. But I know your ice people are going to be even more brutal soon.

i played melee with jmic, kenny, and brandon yesterday it was really fun melee is a great game....then we played brawl.....that was also fun i like them both but brawl a lil more

Guys, I learned some deep insight with the game yesterday.
You know how people are freakishly into campting these days? Saying that reactive and safe play is the most effective.... Well, in essence, it is. Campy toon links can win matches all day, and I've just been trying to find ways to be aggressive.
WELL, normally in games you'd have to be safe before being too aggressive... Because usually, making a fluke would mean your own demise because the opponent had some crazy combo waiting for your mistake.
I realized something playing against a lvl 9 Marth... Despite my attempts at playing aggressively, he would still be scoring hits between my flawed combo attempts. So I tried to figure him out by spacing him and rolling, but silly me, CPU's are immune to that. I thought about it for a sec...
If this CPU is gonna score random hits on me just because he's attacking... then maybe I should just keep attacking.
"Safe rushdowns" are considered the ultimate style in combo-oriented fighting games. Most fighting games are combo-oriented. Since Brawl has basically no real combos, everyone's resorted to an evade-projectile-don't take damage play style.
Sure, I could do that, but it never fit me. Then, something just clicked.
Screw a "safe rushdown."
I've adapted my Sheik style into a RECKLESS rushdown. If I can't react fast enough to a computer's randomly thrown attacks... then people aren't gonna be able to react to mine. Simple as that.
Good luck to Modesto this weekend and I'm gonna polish my attack styles.

I think reckless attacks is very effective actually....cuz when playing with stefan and dottie i would struggle playing campy....but was able to beat them playing very defensive and reckless........
