I always like seeing your sig, we like so many of the same characters, the only one there I don't love is Toon Zelda. :)

Actually, now that I think about it, a lot of the Magnus supporters I've run into have said he's going to replace Ike. Interesting. Just makes the reveal that much more satisfying.
But I don't think it helps Palutena's chances, because Magnus had a 0% chance of getting in over Palutena already. Actually, I'd argue him replacing Ike had a 0% chance too- so Magnus's chances went from 0.1% to 0.1%
But it will be nice to see him leaving a certain prediction roster I've been arguing with for a long time.

Palutena is the one character I desire for too many reasons. Support. I wouldn't oppose Magnus, but I don't expect his status as playable, or even bother encouraging him for that matter. He's perfect for an Assist Trophy role, however. We also damn well better get his theme in at least one of the games or I'll flip a bloody table.

Anyway, Palutena, yes please.

I find Lighting Battle a greater song, along with The Ring of Chaos, the moment when Viridi shows Pit what Skyworld look like and Palutena apparently turning evil is full of emotion, I really like the tempo of the song in the part when Pit scream "LADY PALUTENA", other great song is Boss Battle 2 it appears with Medusa but for me is more memorable in the battle with Palutena, and intense and epic theme with a bit of that nostalgic and iconic Kid Icarus Underworld theme.

Man I hope Sakurai's next game is Kid Icarus Uprising 2 with more playable characters (more Magnus, Pandora, Phosphora, and Pyrhon specifically. And the guy on the moon.) and a net play using these characters.

I figure he already got a Kirby in recently (Triple Deluxe), Smash is coming out this year. And he did a great job with the first one.
As for Smash brothers, the whether real or not Palutena leak sold me months ago when they showed the invincibility star on her belt in the model for that. It was subtle and well done model work unlikely in a leak and it sold me on her in this game. So I want her and pseudo palutena really really just made her confirmed, just not revealed, in my opinion.

That said, I still want Medusa too just so we get more bad guys in Smash. I'd like every hero to have a playable antagonist in this game. It won't happen, but I'd like that.

Sakurai actually stopped having anything to do with Kirby after Kirby and the Amazing Mirror (where he was a supervisor, rather than the director). He hasn't had any known input on a Kirby title since, plus he left HAL to do his own thing. So Sakurai went from Brawl, to Uprising, to Smash 4.

As far as villains go, I'd much rather Hades myself. Far too fabulous to not show up.

As far as music goes, I hope they go all out. While I know we have the land mini-boss version of Dark Pit's theme, I really want the flight version, it's so upbeat I wanna beat some drums to it.

I also want Magnus' theme and Lightning Battle.

I'm also glad Boss Battle 1 is there, that's an amazing theme as far as boss of the day themes go.

Like sonicbrawler said, Sakurai got tired of sequalizing Kirby a long time ago. And he's already said he doesn't want to do a sequal to Uprising, but if somebody else wants to, he wouldn't stop them.

Whether or not I can believe this leak falls on what version it is supposed to be depicting. If it's Wii U, fake. If it's 3DS, it could actually be real. Why? Well...



The display on the screen seems extremely low res, there are jaggies around everything. Too many for it to be on a HD screen. These jaggies are plausible on a 3DS screen, but even with an up close camera, I don't think 2D graphics would look THIS jagged on a HD screen.

Also, why is Bowser locked? That's very suspicious.

True. Also, it's a demo roster. It's not that weird that Bwoser isn't playable. They'd only have a select few be playable.

The only thing that kills the images is that Mega Man isn't in the second image that shows Sonic. (Little Mac isn't there either)

EDIT: Also two player threes.

Why wouldn't they have Bowser playable at the demo, though? He was revealed at the very first E3, after all. And he's been changed. I imagine more than a few people would want to try him out.

True. But it also makes sense since this is for the demo. Just because he was shown doesn't mean he has to be playable in the demo. As sad as that is.

In Brawl, the player numbers were under the character portraits. I'm not saying this is definite proof of anything, but we can't go around making assumptions without first checking our facts.

Not just Bowser, we're missing a lot of other revealed characters.

Not saying it's real just saying it makes sense to leave out some characters in the demo.

The demo for Brawl, which was only a couple of months before the game came out, had like half of the characters that had been revealed.



As you can see, Kirby, Pit, Wario, ZSS, and Snake (all of whom were revealed in the original E3 trailer for Brawl) were not included in the demo, alongside several other characters that had been revealed after E3.

I found at least 6 inconsistencies with the CSS Leak and posted them in the Character Discussion Thread.
That leak is dead and buried in the ground.

But it didn't help Palutena anyways, it made no sense as a leak, and it could have technically been a separate series character.
We all know she'll be in- so we don't have to rely on that kind of stuff.
No harm done, really.

I wish there was a search button on Miiverse to look up specific posts about a character. The latest I found was a bikini Palutena post lol. E3 get here sooner!

Or maybe costumes taking her older designs? There's also the possibility of not full costumes but masks and accessories like the science glasses and Pseudo Palutena.
