I know there's a possibility of Kantrip being Negatownie and just slapping his claim as protown, but the way it was used wasn't in a scum manner and I have to say reagardless of anything this was a good play by Kantrip.

I'm alright with being lynched tommorow if means come to the end.

just checked, so did i, identical letter. i was wondering about that.

So why did you not let Fynal go first if you did this?

You could have read him better if he went first instead of you outing first?

And why does this clear J, all J said in 4 paragraphs is, I'm not the original negatownie and said your a negatownie and didn't immediately vote you.

I was thinking about your role after I got converted and thought "wait a minute, this is so pro-negatownie". Basically your role had a defense mechanism to avoid the game ending from one lynch.

Point stands on people flipping alignments though on there not really being a goo incentive to not do this.

The incentive is called it's how you play mafia. You play to your win-condition, and attitudes such as "I'll just get a new win-con if I die anyways" are detrimental to this kind of game. I mean, I could have just said "guys I drew negatownie, lynch me please" until I got town again because I would rather be town, but that's not within the spirit of the game at all.

@Ryu: What Kantrip said. That's how you play mafia, to your current win condition. There are roles like Psychiatrist which converts a serial killer into a vanilla. It's up to the SK to avoid the psychiatrist because that's what his current win condition is. It's not "to be converted into town". Same goes with roles like yak and cult. It's not the town's job to be converted into the other side because they feel they can win that way. To throw away your win condition is against the spirit of the game and is a loss in my book.

I would have thought this woulda been really easy for town tbh, I dodged like 3 lynches and Kantrip kamikazing Fynal. Fynal was my n0 pick for more likely to flip negatownie, I was so sure that Fynal was negatownie too and I was really surprised that you were, I honestly wasn't sure what I was going to do had Ruy not flipped negatownie and the game went won.

The Serial Killer will still win, he just does it with town. It's not conventional for his SK wincon but he still wins, just with town.

This is exactly why none of my set-ups change people's alignments, too many problems with doing it.

Yeah Fynal somehow beat the odds haha. I thought the game was going to be over after d1 after I randomized Kantip and he got mafia. But Fynal ended up getting town again. Nice job man. I agree that you played really well. Xonar was the only one who had you as scum.

Ruy it's against the rules to play against your win condition. It's as simple as that

What incentive is there for someone not to communicate outside the game if they are to not get caught? What incentive is there for not breaking any other rule? It's all about honor & the spirit of the game man.

There was no suggestion, I just kind of had fun with it. Though I did ask about the whole encrypted message thing and Zen said it was okay for this game, but not normally, as I expected.
