@FOS: That was me just going along with a silly fos for no reason, just like the beginning of most games. There was no purpose to you doing with it, so I went along with it for a laugh.

@vote within post/the whole joke: Basically, I wanted to see what happened when I took an approach that I've never done before: using a completely stupid reason to vote in a humorous manner. I was curious to see what Vinyl would do, and besides that, I think it was a good way to get people talking in this 3 man game where we have no knowledge of each other.

The vote was half serious, but now that I've seen his reaction, it's serious. Instead of saying "man you're being stupid," a natural reaction, he started painting it as me being viscous. I feel that he's just trying to find a reason of any sort for a lynch towards me, especially when he voiced suspicion of me before the game even REALLY started. It makes me feel like he picked who he thought was an easy lynch before the game even started, which implies that he isn't really trying to hunt scum (this sentence is pure speculation, just personal feelings).

@Self meta: That wasn't self meta as much as just me thinking of an example of someone being viscous. Since I was part of that example, it's natural for it to be one of the first I think of.

Didn't you think that if I were scum, I could have hammered? Even so, why would you put out a vote that can LOSE town the game, while just being half serious? I feel this may have been a tactical error on your part as scum. From your pov as scum, you would be trying to seem townie, so you would make a 'gambit/half *** case' to seem committed, and even put out a vote to seem like you got the scum, but forgot that Town wouldn't do that and would be a bit more careful because they don't want a quick hammer. Hmmm. You say it was to get a reaction, but you then back down from it and then say that he was trying to paint you as scummy. I feel his reaction was warranted. He gets accused of being scum for his wording. I feel his posts implied that your accusation was stupid, since you say that would have been a natural reaction. I'll give a quote:

This implies that your accusation is stupid. He is implying that it would be stupid for that accusation to actually catch him if he were scum.

Also, he says you were trying to twist his words, which was obviously what you did, even if it was half joke or not. Guess what. This is a game of lies and manipulation. We have no idea if it was really a joke or not. But you still twisted his words, so that's evidence against you. It seemed like it WAS a hard stance against him, and he was yet again, reacting naturaly.

You are even doing what you accused him of, finding reasons to pin him as scum. Basically, you push on him seriously until he votes you. Then you turn it around!

You say that you thought it was humorous, basically you backed down because you knew it was a stupid push. Here it seems you do this to make Vynil look bad and stupid for returning fire. Yet he explained to you why he came out with the reason near the start of the game. He said he felt you were odd, but I told him to go on anyways. I also don't think he was looking for reasons to call you scum. He instantly reacted and said that you were odd. That was an observation of your actions, and not really an action of 'adding more reasons to support his case'.
