c) We find a public server and run to a far corner and isolate ourselves.

Well if you check out my link it has all the plans up and it turns out my internet is too **** to host more than a couple of people. If I had ADSL2+ and lived close to one of those exchanges I would put my time into setting one up for you guys.

Problem with home servers is you really need them on a separate computer and any sort of net usage hits it hard.

I think he means home servers in general, i.e. machines that serve lots of people 24/7. I don't see why setting up a temporary server just while you want to play wouldn't be fine.

Should be fine. I have adsl2+ now and an i7 920 cpu so it should handle a few people. Just make sure you guys pause any kind of torrenting when you're playing
