For that pic with Falco, does anyone have a source for that portrait? If it's fake it's a well done job since falco looks great.

I know we're expecting Diddy to be announced next because of tropical freeze, but since so far I've seen no one bring conclusive evidence to show that the portrait is fake, and for the sake of discussion, I'm going to say that this leak may be legit. If it is legit and falco is the next to be announced, then either falco is announced next this week or next (before the release of DKC:TF) or he's announced to coincide with the release of DKC:TF, and that can only mean one thing...

Although I take leaks very lightly, this Falco image seems like it could create good discussion.

There are some noticeable differences in the two images:

I've rotated the image to better compare it to the "leaked" Falco.
Clearly there are some differences like facial expression, lighting of the "headgear", and color scheme, but you can pick some smaller details out of the two. In the "leaked" image Falco has smaller pupils, less "eyeliner", he has more detailed feathers on the lower half of his head. Additionally, his neck area looks much better, and there are some jacket differences.

However, one of the things that to me raises some red flags is that the feathers on the upper half of his head looks to be the same shape, if not identical.

If it is fake, it was a smart move by the leaker because we can assume the SF reps will look similar to their Brawl counterparts. However, those little details within the image make me wonder... is it real? Or does this person just have some good photoshop skills to make me go... "hmmm..."

Incorrect on brawl model compared to rumored picture

The rumor picture is smiling the brawl one is not
His headgear is lighter than the brawl one and thicker than brawl
His neck sleeve area has a sleeve not the brawl model (except on his character stance)
His jacket is lighter than the brawl one

And the only the same is the feathers on the top of his head (but not the ones near his beak (the side of his face not the top of his head))

I like how they are buffing things like Link's down thrust, Marth's shield breaker, and now Lucario's aura, I seriously hope that Sakurai takes a nice good look at Ness and gives him an overall buff.

-Pk Thunder should go farther and have super armour the first few frames
-Replace Pk Fire with Pk Rockin
-PSI Magnet should have a huge and useful gust of wind, or better yet should work like a fox shine.
-Pk Flash should be quicker, or reworked to be useful.
-Remove the stupid infinte grab release bs that brawl inflicted upon the poor kid.

I think PK Rockin should be his final smash actually.

I'm hopeful that Sakurai is aware of things that need buffing, but at the same time some of the specifics of what he has touched has been kinda weird imo.

For example Link's Dair, which was always at least a decent kill move, will now only be usable off the stage sine otherwise you're just sending the opponent back down. Also did Marth NEED that shield breaker buff? X] not complaining on that one, I'm just wonder haha. Of course there's Lucario's buff, which sounded to be great at first but might end up not that useful if all he did was raise the maximum strength that he reaches instead of tweaking the growth rate and base power.

But I guess it's all just a matter of waiting and seeing; I still have hope.

Well, sakurai is mentioning a lot of fixes/buffs in the miiverse comments because he wants people to be happy or excited about changes that will "improve" upon the fans' characters. I'm sure there will also be nerfs and such, but I don't imagine sakurai going around saying "we're going to make ___ worse" because that will only result in a lot of negative feedback and people pestering him not to do it.

Both. Lucario is based of Anubis. He should be amazing in every way, instead he looks like a man in a poorly made fursuit. They even made him a obnoxious color seal the deal. He's lackluster in just about every way imaginable.

I think two things that would make his design way better would be if they hadn't given them those stupid-ass baggy "shorts" and if they had left off the outer two droopy head things. And possibly just made it more of a headdress thing like Anubis actually wore. But even if not, making it only two would make it have more of a vertical thing, instead of sticking out to the side all the time.

But yeah.

Anyway, it's kinda hard to tell how much bigger Lucario's Aura Sphere is since we don't know where the hitbox starts. It could start at the edge of the circle or at a certain color of the flares around it. But in any case, it looks at least slightly bigger.

There most probably will be one sometime before the release of tropical freeze, Nintendo seems to really want to push that game so it wouldn't be a surprise if they do. So either this week or next is when we'll get a direct, and I doubt the rest of Nintendo will care about "lucario week" when they think further promoting a game that's coming out soon is more important than pictures of the day.

That's true, but be that as it may, Nintendo will still want to show off this game in a direct before it releases. And that's not the only game they will want to promote, they've also been showing off quite a bit of the Bravely Default game on their social media which is coming to north america in a few days.
