Rainbow Road, can't say I didn't expect it.

As for tomorrow, assuming we DO get something special, I'd guess that it'd be something that we haven't seen before. By that I mean something other than items, stages or characters.

So we're talking music, right?
It would be a nice change of pace to see some music.

I'm ready to see a DK, Kirby, Starfox or Pokemon stage.

Ah well, I'd guess next month we'll probably get a Kirby one, with DK the following month.

Honestly though, surprisingly little Pokemon content revealed so far.

You know, with the fact that all we've gotten other than Pikachu so far is Xerneas (officially), I really do wonder what the Pokemon Company is up to that they don't seem to want Sakurai to reveal anything else Pokemon-related. The Pokeball was in Rosalina's trailer, but that's all we've seen of Pokemon, other than the occasional Pikachu, since X/Y's release, unless I'm forgetting a stage or something, but still that's a total of 3/4, when we have tons of Mario stuff, a lot of Zelda. Pokemon's up there in the Big Three, so it is surprising that we haven't seen anything more.

Kirby, for that matter, seems suspiciously absent as well. Maybe we'll get more when the new game releases (DEDEDE!), but as far as I can remember, all we have of the Kirby series is Kirby, and maybe a stage, and that's it. Even less than Pokemon at the moment.

...We've really only seen Mario and/or Zelda-related stuff lately, actually. What's up with that? (and I'm not counting anything that was revealed in the first month or that doesn't relate to playable characters in that, like Yellow Devil or Nintendog or the PilotWings stage) Unless I'm missing something, in which case please slap me for forgetting, haha.

when sakurai talked about trimming fat on the roster my mind instantly went to Captain Falcon, since there hasn't been an F-Zero game since GX, if it is the mute city stage I just hope they finally put edges on the platform, that always made me hate that stage.

Yeah sure he's going to cut probably the most iconic character of the series so far.

Nothing stops Sakurai to put an F-Zero stage who works exactly like Rainbow Road, but it probably will be on WiiU.

This is a big step forward from the Mario Circuit in Brawl anyway, which was pretty boring.

Probably a remix too and a couple of retro Rainbow Road tracks. I also believe this is the stage which will contain Galaxy music for 3DS version.
