Of course I remember that time, but Sakurai says very clearly "Don't miss the Nintendo Direct" and the banner on the website is already down for about 3 weeks. It's time for a character reveal and if Sakurai wants to reveal a newcomer, a Nintendo Direct is perfect as he can show the newcomer trailer in there and he will be sure most of us see the trailer.

Wow that's absolutely amazing, kinda wish Itoi would make a new Mother game for the Wii U. I would love to play a Mother game that looked like this. I look forward to Ness's return when the time comes.
