But seriously guys, After being slightly disappointed with last night's reveal (I just wish we could have seen a little more of the stage...) I went to bed and had a lucid like dream... I was awake looking at my computer screen, I remember being super excited in seeing an update... It's like I almost remember what was revealed but I still cant put a finger on it... I know I wont be able to remember it, but its still on the tip of my tongue....ugh.

My brain hurts.... Now watch it be something totally lame... Will I still get extremely excited? hm...

Somehow my gut feeling is saying nothing special at all will happen today, which probably means a character will be revealed since I'm usually wrong cause I follow logic and Sakurai hates being predictable.
Still a bit sour that a Pokemon character wasnt revealed for X&Y...twas so obvious! Oh well~

And yeah, I don't see how this "confirms" him as anything really. We already knew he appeared on this stage, this just shows he's not limited to standing in one place.

Well, there are two characters on the stage. Might be multiplayer.

The Yellow Devil has actually been shown to appear on this stage, (it's been shown on this stage TWICE, it's first appearace was when the stage was first shown as well. It's likely a stage hazard, or less likely, a boss) Ridley has yet to be shown on the Pyrosphere, a stage which has been shown several times, and it has not been stated that Ridley WILL be a stage hazard.

Mega Man things are shown on the Mega Man stage, because of... you know... being on theme.

Yellow Devil could still be an AT or a boss of some sort. Or maybe a stage hazard. It could happen either way. This literally doesn't confirm anything we didn't already know from the Mega Man reveal trailer where we see the Yellow Devil assembling on the Mega Man stage. If it's an AT, then Sakurai choosing to show him off on a Mega Man stage isn't exactly surprising (Skull Kid was shown on the Zelda stage, shockingly). If it's a boss, then it may only appear on that stage but yet not be a stage hazard. Or it's a stage hazard.

Why people are saying it confirms something I don't know. All three possibilities are consistent with the pic. Maybe just wait for actual confirmation?

It's been pretty clear to me that Yellow Devil is a stage hazard right from the get-go.

He really can't be an AT since he'd bug the **** out on so many stages with a size and attack like his. Plus, ATs were only just confirmed last friday.

The adventure mode boss idea isn't even something we know is in the game at all, and if it is I don't see why Sakurai would keep it to himself, it's not like adventure mode is unconfirmed, and whenever we see something new he always comments that it is something new, like with Skull Kid and his AT status.

All signs do point towards him being a stage hazard. Of course Sakurai could always make a turnaround later on, but I doubt it.

For the same reason he keeps everything else to himself or does whatever he does.

Cause he can. Sakurai thinks he can do whatever he wants, so he does just that regardless of the outcome. XD

This picture could also suppose co-op's return for the Adventure Mode and/or Smash Boss mode.

Eh, I didn't really get much from tonights update. So we now know the yellow devil does yellow devil things even though this was already insinuated at the end of the Mega Man reveal trailer back in June. The only thing that's really confirmed was that he will act like he does in the games as far as movement is concerned, but considering I've beaten many of them I would've found it rather odd if he didn't do as such. This is coming from a guy who expects nothing, hopes for a little and usually still becomes satisfied with even less, so I hope I don't get any "stop being ungrateful" remarks. I'm very grateful, I'm just not impressed with tonights update is all.
