I was thinking about what Cpt. Falcon's design would be like in this game, and just realised that the F-Zero franchise has been essentially dead since before Brawl came out.Falcon maybe???
If they were fake then they wouldn't be coming from an official Nintendo 3DS facebook page... :/So, some people say these are fake. Thoughts?
Laughable assumption. So, some people say these are fake. Thoughts?

Here you go.Can I have the link so I can present them as proof?
Sakurai did say character attacks aren't final when revealing Peach, though. Also, redesign is different than changing actual gameplay.
I guess the capsule's redesign took literally minutes of their time, while reworking a moveset would become much longer and harder.
You're very welcome.Much appreciated.
I believe it's mostly because Sakurai is posting these pics on Miiverse first, and currently Miiverse is only available on Wii U and not yet on the 3DS so naturally most of the Miiverse members are more interested in the Wii U version. If not they should at least post some more 3DS screenshots for the official Nintendo 3DS Facebook page or something like they just did.Why don't we ever get these 3DS pictures? Better question, why don't we ever get 3DS pictures altogether?
I like the Wii U pictures more, as does everyone, but being I don't have the time or money to buy a Wii U, I will be being the 3DS version.I believe it's mostly because Sakurai is posting these pics on Miiverse first, and currently Miiverse is only available on Wii U and not yet on the 3DS so naturally most of the Miiverse members are more interested in the Wii U version. I would like to see some more 3DS pics too, even though I'm currently saving up for a Wii U.
Yeah I love the Wii U pictures too, but I would like to see a bit more of the 3DS side as well is all I mean really. ^^I like the Wii U pictures more, as does everyone, but being I don't have the time or money to buy a Wii U, I will be being the 3DS version.
Not everyone will get to buy the Wii U version though. For people like me who only own a 3DS (at least right now) it'd be nicer to get more things coming from the 3DS game. Not saying 3DS should get even more exposure, but it'd be great if both games got the same amount of attention so people can see how the version they'll buy is coming along. Its more interesting and impressive to see the Wii U pictures.
This might be an actual concern. I mean even with the price drop, I think it is unlikely that Nintendo will completely deter this detriment. The next-gen consoles are almost out, and I have a feeling the kids want those for Christmas. Who wants a glorified Wii? That is the problem, they have not done enough to innovate, so people erroneously assume that the Wii U is more of the same. The specs are lackluster and there are not too many ideal games out as of current. So the 3DS might actually be the majority consumer in this scenario. Not everyone will get to buy the Wii U version though. Well thats only of the people who even know the Wii U exists. The marketing campaign for it is so horrendous (not to mention the awful name) that people dont even know it exists, or think its an expansion or special add-on for the Wii.This might be an actual concern. I have a Wii U (only because my Wii broke and I wanted to get the purchase out of the way). I am not going to lie, I really regret the decision. When it comes down to it, I might actually be more excited for the 3DS version. I hope that they market the Wii U version, if only to give the series exposure.
I agree with that notion. They should have picked a better name. Super Smash Bros Skirmish? Super Smash Bros Altercation? SSB Battle? SSB Combat? SSB Clash? SSB Quarrel? SSB Riot?Well thats only of the people who even know the Wii U exists. It's more or less the console which needed a better name. I still think Nintendo Universe or Nintendo Revolution are better names, which in turn would make it Super Smash Bros Universe or Super Smash Bros (for) Revolution.I agree with that notion. They should have picked a better name. Super Smash Bros Skirmish? Super Smash Bros Altercation? SSB Battle? SSB Combat? SSB Clash? SSB Quarrel? SSB Riot?
Okay, when it comes down to it, there aren't very many good names to pick from if they were to follow their precedent. However, they could have named the game differently.
Yeah, I addressed that in my original post. The Wii U is a horrendous name, it doesn't really contribute much to the next-gen of gaming either. It's more or less the console which needed a better name. I still think Nintendo Universe or Nintendo Revolution are better names, which in turn would make it Super Smash Bros Universe or Super Smash Bros (for) Revolution.
Errr.... I meant the Wii U x_x But yeah I was let down with Smash's name.I agree with that notion. They should have picked a better name. Super Smash Bros Skirmish? Super Smash Bros Altercation? SSB Battle? SSB Combat? SSB Clash? SSB Quarrel? SSB Riot?

Regarding the name of Smash Bros., I really hope you guys are aware of what the games have been called in Japan.Errr.... I meant the Wii U x_x But yeah I was let down with Smash's name.
EDIT: I just had an idea. Assist Trophies should change to Assist Gashapons! xDD
Regarding the name of Smash Bros., I really hope you guys are aware of what the games have been called in Japan.
Smash Bros for Wii U and for 3DS are the first titles is Smash Bros history that are almost completely the same in all regions.
The first Smash Bros, when translated into English from the original Japanese, was actually called: "Nintendo All-Stars Great Fray Smash Brothers." Bit of a mouthful, huh?
Ninty of Murica decided to come up with a more "Nintendo-y" name, more than what JapaNinty came up with anyway, and called it "Super Smash Bros." The Super fits the Nintendo theme better.
Melee was called "Great Fray Smash Bros DX" (DX stands for Deluxe)
And Brawl was just "Smash Bros X."
All in all, Smash Bros. for Wii U, or Smash Bros. for 3DS aren't really bad names.
The Wii U version has prettier graphics, that's why I'm buying the Wii U version. Not everyone will get to buy the Wii U version though. Tell me about it, am I the only one that is disturbed by Donkey Kong on the 3DS? In the end, Smash is a console game. So not getting it on console would be a mistake in my opinion. I can understand money problems; however, the Wii U will drop its price again if it wants to compete with the other next-gen consoles. So by time Smash is out, the Wii U should be affordable. The Wii U version has prettier graphics, that's why I'm buying the Wii U version.![]()
Pill caspule items confirmed...... get hype people. (I don't use items so.... meh they look cool tho).

I'm pretty sure anyone would go for the Wii U version over the 3DS version for a lot of reasons, that much is true. But, the thing is (and, the point I was trying to make) is that not everyone has the money to get a Wii U (be it now or by the time SSB4 is out), so people like me that probably won't be able to get their hands on a Wii U anytime soon but own a 3DS already would prefer getting a bit more content being shown from the 3DS version rather than have the Wii U version take the entire spotlight. The Wii U version has prettier graphics, that's why I'm buying the Wii U version.![]()
I don't want to get into a console debate, but I bought the Wii U by personal choice and I had no regrets, and I certainly find it more innovative than PS4 or Xbox One. The real problem is advertisement if you ask me. Nintendo does a poor job on that aspect as all the videos they put out are on the Internet, not the TV.This might be an actual concern. I don't necessarily think ANY of the consoles are innovative. It makes me really want to go to PC gaming to be honest. However, your assertion is correct. The advertisement is a HUGE problem. Nintendo Directs as opposed to E3? I have no idea what they are doing and why they couldn't just do both. They never did sell the new Pad controller as the next best thing either. So it leaves a lot to be desired. I will agree with you, it was the most innovative (which isn't saying much) and of course you have the decadent specs (it is essentially a Ps3 without 3rd party support).I don't want to get into a console debate, but I bought the Wii U by personal choice and I had no regrets, and I certainly find it more innovative than PS4 or Xbox One. Right? That moment was great for us "Smashers", not so great for people expecting a legitimate announcement. It just goes to show how important this release is to Nintendo. And lets not forget "We have one last pretty big reveal for the day this year at E3!" -Reggie
