Today's pic was boring but I'd feel greedy asking for tommorow to be a substantial update after Monday and the new stage reveal.

Yeah I remember seeing him. I feel that Sakurai will officially reveal something from either series soon. At least during E3. I literally do not think I can wait any longer. It's killing me. Thank god MK8 came out.

Brawl dojo days had a lot more updates pertaining to technical details and non-game visual details.
Confirming things like pivot grabs, or even dash cancels or the likes would be huge-ish, because it would be an indication of the transition between "things in the air" and final engine details being revealed.

I'm pretty sure he dedicated a post to footstooling for this generation, so its not like its unheard of

It's all in the eye of the beholder but I didn't really consider any of these pics this week filler (I really like trophies okay). Having more solid stuff for tonight would be cool (in the same vein as the stage and item). I'm ready for more alternate costume reveals.. all the time.

You can also argue that the trophy pic was actually teasing NFC figures, so it really isn't filler

Yeah but we still get POTDs after E3 yeah? Or are they confirmed to stop entirely?

Well, they're taking pics as development goes on.

So, since the development will continue beyond E3, I believe it will continue as well.

However, since the Wii U version will be in dev time for longer, I think the 3DS version will stop getting pics uploaded.

So we've had a stage, a trophy and an item this week... I sense an AT or Pokeball Pokemon today. And tomorrow will definitely be a last minute character reveal before E3. You heard it here first folks!
