I hope you're not serious, city trial in smash is practically guaranteed to be great. Really ridiculous sounding when you act condescending over game-modes in a game that hasn't even come out.

I doubt we've even scratched the surface of what this game really has packed in. Goodness, unlocking everything is going to be a journey.

I wasn't lol. Anything that has the phrase "master race" in it can't be take seriously. I still hope the enemies show up in crates in regular multiplayer though.

Nah, there are plenty of people who use it seriously in a really obnoxious way. Enemies in crates.. not sure what to think about it, but it'd be surprising I guess.

It's also noted that you can pick these enemies up, assuming like an item, so that's new. Well I didn't notice it in the direct at least, could be wrong.

I mean yeah Kirby Air Ride was a fun game and City Trial was fun too and I can imagine this thing will be fun too but...I just really don't want to have potd about it. I'd consider the reveal of any enemy in smash run a good pick of the day. Mooks are a big part of nintendo too, and it's interesting to see which ones are included because, like characters, there are so many to choose from. Plus some are really loved by certain fans.

If anything I find the Uprising enemy we got last week more interesting than the Octorok, we've seen them in Smash before.

I do think Smash Run looks like a ton of fun, and it's a mode I can easily see myself spending a lot of time on. However, it's not exactly exciting PoTD material; we already know the gist of how it works, and there are already *enough* different enemy types that we've seen that more aren't terribly exciting. It's not really a big deal if not every picture is exciting, but this one certainly was not.

I honestly would never have even tried to pick them up, so I'm not too disappointed in it. But yes, finding things out on your own is much more thrilling. I hope they do not announce EVERYTHING you can see and do.

They should have used the octorok from the toon games. I don't recall them hiding very often, but their design fits better with this game.

Tbh, the only enemy' design from SS I liked were the Lizalfos, now they should make an appearance here.
