Well bare in mind Yoshi was revealed pretty late for Brawl(once again was the last of the Smash64 starter roster to be revealed). This time though he was the only Smash 64 starter vet to not be revealed at E3.

Not really, we've guessed a few others collectively such as Diddy Kong, Zelda, and Dedede.

I feel they weren't as widely agreed on as tonight. Maybe that's just me then. I know Dedede we were all pretty sound on it but there were a few who didn't think so.

I gotta say I legit hate Yoshi. A lot of Mario characters are just...I don't know, incredibly kiddy and just lame imo. In their individual games I like them but when I just think of Mario, Peach, Toad, and Peach (even Rosalina) I can't help but thinking that they're just "fun" characters with nothing to really back them up. Hard to explain and certainly nothing against people that like Yoshi and Rosalina etc., just characters I'm anywhere from meh to ugh about.

BUT. We will get Yoshi tonight...90% sure. Also betting on one image being him using his shield (egg).

They're like the Nintendo equivalent of Mickey, Minnie, Donald etc. They're just there and we're super used to them they've kinda lost purpose.
