I don't know what I was thinking, entering a single character only tournament as a character I barely even play as. I really need to figure out a way to not gimp own recovery because of my own inputs.
Honestly, it seems to come more with time than anything. It's certainly far less common on Wii U, but I can't count the number of times I've done Eruption going for Aether.

Thanks, I've been playing since 3DS launch though, almost daily. Although, I don't get good challenge every day like I got today with the tourney, the more stressful the matches, I think the more likely I am to mess up on inputs.

Also, I edited my last post, I sent it too soon.

I will be back momentarily. I must run a quick errand.
It shouldn't be any longer than 15 minutes. Report your scores and go ahead and face your next opponent, which is Raykz, if you advanced. Thank you!

So what's the plan for the tournament tonight? Will there be a challonge bracket or something?

Still considering joining the Wii U one despite it starting 11PM my time. Based on this one, how long do you reckon it'd take?

TIL I could change the score to 2-1.

Considering the 3DS one isn't over after an hour and 50 minutes, it will take longer than that with more entrants.

It probably won't take any longer than two hours.

True, though there may be more matches going on at the same time. Either way I have a 3 day weekend this week so I may just take the plunge and play anyway, though I question how far I'll get.

Well, looks like I got called in to work early...in about an hour instead of 5 hours from now. That was a fun tournament, and I definitely can't make the Wii U one. :(

You use Confusion a lot.
A lot of people see someone miss an attack close to them and they go for their strongest attack to punish which in Mewtwo's case is a fully charge Shadow Ball, it's a habit that's hard to kill for most people. Normally when I am playing someone I don't know, I expect this behaviour and I Confusion instantly after missing an attack point blank (if they have a fully charged SB). Since I kept hitting you with your own Shadow Ball I kept doing it.

I think in total I got 5 or 6 stocks with your own Shadow Ball (out of all 4 games), 2 of which were baited (I purposely missed 1 or 2 tilts in front of you baiting the Shadow Ball punish). You should train your mind to get rid of that habit. It gets too predictable.

With how little I'm focusing in my Mewtwo right now, I simply go for what usually works.
Thank you for the tips, however!
