Meta-knights tornado

So I'm quite familiar with snake, and I'm sure im not bad with his skills, I can take most characters on, but the other day my friend found a love for metaknights tornado, to the point where he constantly spams it... over and over. It get's annoying, It's sort of even game atm, but i was curious to hear if there are any tricks to stop him from spamming that god-****ed tornado attack.

Originally I would block it and try and hit a C4 onto his face once he finished it, which worked half of the time, but sometimes it's just a bit difficult to time the C4 right, and he uses another attack while im planting it on the ground.

Pull out a nade and shield.

pretty much all you need to do vs metaknight. all his attacks are close range and a lot have multiple hits. train him to be afraid of hitting you, then throw in some random ftilts and nairs.

that or just shield -> jab or shield -> ftilt.
