MELEE-FC Carpooling thread

OK so here's what this thread has determined so far:

Driver: Petre
Passengers: SCOTU, erad, Lain
Open seats: 1?
Leaving: Day of ~6

Randizzle's going out to GR/ SH region the day before riding with them?

*this needs updating let me know who's driving in what direction with who*

I think it'd be pretty awesome if someone in GR/SH wants to house a few of us the night before so we don't have to leave early in the morning the day of and so we can smash the night before. Petre, would you be willing to drive out the night before if that was an option?

If not, I'm with the petre party the day of.

edit: who else in Southeast Michigan is driving?

yeah, i can go out day before. now, finding someone to house 5 the night before...thats the problem. hahaha.

uh... i don't think i'm cool for going out the night before.... I might still have work that night... unless you want to drive out there starting at like 1130... which i don't...

then check if you have to work. also, there's gotta be at least two carpools from southeast michigan to FC anyway considering the number of people going.

well, i don't have my schedule, so i'd have to check on thursday, but i don't know if my parents will let me leave a day early to spend the night at someone's house. And you'd have to find someone willing to house like 5 ppl. And leaving at like 6 isn't that bad anyway. I've left for trips at 230 in the morning before to catch air planes.

Uggh, since registration is at 10:00 AM, I'll probably have to be in Champaign at like 7. If you could somehow get off work, it would make things a lot easier.

Ok, checked my schedule for work, and most likely wont be working that day, so it's up to my parents to realize that it's the right choice to let me go to GR/SH that night.

Possible meeting spots are:

Marion, IL at 4pm on Wednesday
Effingham, IL at 5pm on Wednesday
Champagin, IL at 7pm-7am. Late Wednesday or early Thursday

I'm leaving Marion and driving to Viperboys (In Champagin) the night before to pratice. We're leaving Champagin by 7am at the latest.

This plan isn't 100% official yet. I still have to confirm it with Viperboy and Rob Gambino

Are you the one with Rob_Gambino? Cuz if so I'm meeting up with him in Champaign early thursday.

My brother and I live in the central Ohio area, and could really use a ride to FC. We'd be willing to travel to accomodate people going through the area (I.E. meet you in a spot right off the interstate, at OSU campus, etc.). Basically, if you have room in your car, and you know you'll be passing through Central Ohio, we could really use your help. We'll be willing to help pay for gas as well as provide some competitive DS playing on the way down there!
