I didn't fill out an application or anything, they hired me, because of what they heard from word of mouth. I am unofficially part of the crew for Deluxe Audio (where I work) and they pay me for doing all the little jobs or carrying heavy stuff when everyone else is busy, which makes it easier for them.
They can't fire me because technically I don't work there, but it's not the right thing to do because if I screw them over like that too much they'll eventually get someone more committed. Plus, the better my rep the more I can get paid because then I can work for longer hours.
Plus it pays well, and I want to get paid for as many days as possible.
