This is from the losers finals from a fairly recent tournament in Austin, Texas. I could have done better, but from what I understand he consistently crushes other Metaknight players so I'm glad I did as well as I did.

Quick heads up, I know I was playing campy and I was playing that way on purpose so please don't comment on me stalling a lot. I'm normally much more aggressive than this, but it's not exactly easy to get in on a Falco.

Any comments or suggestions?

How come you don't space with aerials and tilts? You just seem to camp only. It's hard to play a Falco trying to do that. I think you should work on controling the distance between yourself and the person you are fighting. Spacing is the key to metaknight.

Very good mk. though the dtilt to dashgrab is good for surprising, it would be smarter to just dtilt/ftilt poke them, its far less punishable. Also there is a very easy way to punish both fox and falco's side b recovery. Just tornado near the edge. They can't DI out of this either because they land straight in the middle of the tornado, not off to the sides, so you rack up some nice damage.


edit: I noticed you did this once. but all of the times that you shielded or rolled, you could've tornado-ed

I liked your approach OP, Poke to grab. He seemed to catch on to it and started side stepping after your poke though.

Correct me if I'm wrong but can't falco do his chain grab while running too to take up more space. If so Sethlon could have totally gayed you on the delfino walkoff.

Damien is mediocre, Sethlon is FAR better than him. Not to say that Damien is a bad player, he just can't compare to Sethlon at all. I'm assuming you saw him and Melee1 play in New Mexico; you should check out my other set of videos against Melee1

this helps the flaco matchups tho so ggs. nado at the edge so they are forced to grab the ledge or take damage. the downtilit to grab needs to be swtiched up once he starts seeing it
