i've used 360 controller to play smash 64 on the emulator before, works great.

Crew battles will be good, Bolt, I'm excited to play. Money doesn't even need to be involved, we can do MM's on the side.

Depending on how I fare at BTYF, you probably won't be seeing R.O.B. out of me though

No the point of this tournament would be to win the Original Smash Setup. If you already have the system, you either..

A. Don't come.
B. Come, win, and have two for future bi-weeklies.
C. Come, win, and flip it for $125+ to a collector/e-bay.

The way I see it, you would only be spending 10-20 dollars on a setup that is worth $125.00. It will probably be advertised locally as well so expect locals to attempt to go for it too making it quite possibly an easy win.

So no money can be won at all? I am a little confused

As I said, this is just an Idea. I'm open to any idea's you guys have, but I have this system and all this stuff.. and I never use it. I wanted it to be a prize of some sort as well as make a reasonable amount of money from it.

As long as there are cash pay outs to 1st 2nd and 3rd for doubles and singles then its fine and I will enter but, if all there is to be won is a N64 that I already own then I won't enter.

Kojin doesn't have the best Sonic in MD/VA but I won't claim that I do either. Personally I don't care. I did play him at BTYF and beat him more times than he beat me(like 6-1 I believe. We saved every match.). But he does know his ****. So personally if anything we're both doing our thing as the top Sonics of MD/VA.

So this weekend I think I redeemed myself a little bit...
I played better than usual against all the matchups common to me (Sonic, MK, Diddy, Marth, etc.), and didn't play terribly in uncommon matchups (DeDeDe, Yoshi).
I did get 3-stocked at one point, though...

GAMEPAD ELITE PRACTICE DAY
April 2, 2009​

I have scheduled practice on Thursday, April 2 (today) for Smash. If any of you are interested in coming up/down to play with us, your more than welcome to. Be sure to Text my phone or call Gamepad and let me know so I can say that you are GPE Invitational so you can get the discounted All Day Smash Pass.

Bear in mind that only challenging and/or traveling (out of county) players will be accepted as invitational, no if, ands, or buts. This is a practice day for the Gamepad Elite and other crews. I do not want the Elite's to play just anyone for it has no benefit in skill advancement. I am not saying you can't come in and play Smash, but you will be paying hourly instead of by use of a Smash Pass. I do not need to name those players that are considered a challenge to us, you know who you are.

If you are a local and feel you are not a challenge to the Elite, then you can always come during the week to play friendlies. Usually MattyP or myself are there, we will play you and you can get your practice in. Practice hard, show us that you've gotten better and you too can get the discounted benefits that the Gamepad Elite has to offer.
