I think its 100:0 Mario.

I have bad expierinces against him...>_>
Mario is Bleachigo's kryptonite
its not that bad as u make it sound, i beaten Pierce's Mario but its no cake walk..be patient and camp, never let Mario charge the FLUDD or he will edge guard u, u also have to DI up if u get hit horizontally to recover up high to avoid the FLUDD. CG>D-air>FF>jab combo. easy 50% there and wait for marios openings. He's an average character with decent power, mediocre range imo, and crappy recovery. B-air is very helpful in this matchup too, probably 60-40 falco's favor.

Honestly I see what you mean. I'm starting to figure it out. I just need to get rid of some habits, I keep forgetting how huge the hitboxes are on Mario's Usmash so I get all SK92 and short hop all up on Mario.

Another habit is a n00by one, the one where I roll INTO the opponent; bad bad bad....

u can outbox mario, there's no need to roll into his up smash(ridiculous range on that move) lol.. falcos roll is good but its shouldn't be used a lot.. side-b shouldnt be used much as everyone said, its an easy gimp if u Shdl>iap then get caped off stage >_<..

True, I ***** jab now. I'm hoping everyone starts too. I recall someone (Trust worthy) told me "A Jab Combo" leaves you at a "0 frame advantage." Meaning after the jab combo we can shield everything!

(The shortest jab combo, btw)

@bleachigo- u have to somewhat cancel the whole jab combo cuz mario will up-b or n-air u and thats no good. you dont wanna hold the a button for so long.

Trust me the shortest strings of "Spins during the AAA'' is safe on hit. I never get hit for doing it unless its against characters with Invincibility Frames on start.

Peach's- Nair
Marth's- UpB
Wolf's- Shine
Mario's- UpB (I think)
Those are like the characters I remember to avoid jabbing, there's prolly more but yeah I don't know them.

If you do the combo too long some characters (Diddy, ZSS, Luigi...and prolly more) can SDI up and away and trade/hit you with a aerial.

Slight advantage to Falco, 55-45 to 60-40.
Most stuff has already been said. Without lasers, Falco wouldn't be a happy bird, so Falco's keepaway game is the key to success here. Don't get grabbed and don't get juggled. If you get knocked off stage you'd better be on your toes.

Not much else to say that hasn't been said, so there's a little tactical summary, lol.

This right here is pretty much how you should play the matchup. Accurate to the letter.

Bair should be abused, especially on the ledge where Mario's options are limited. NEVER let Mario charge the Fludd. Underrating how crucial it is to his arsenal in this matchup is the worst thing you can do.

Can you afford be risky and bair stage spike mario through upB if it's his only option left, or is a speedhog safer?

By the way.

Mario's F-smash is better than Falco's. Just sayin.

And keep in mind the gigantic range it has too. Lol at outranging Marth's F-smash srsly.

The range difference is incredibly slight whether he angles it or not. The main thing is that he takes a massive step forward stutter stepping, or he has massive leanback on the charge stance.

I read somewhere that Mario and Falco's Usmashes have the same strength.

Pretty interesting.

might i add upsmash kills mario around low hundred percents... always keep that upsmash handy after 110% =)
Mario can kill with Usmash at similar percents.

I read somewhere that Mario and Falco's Usmashes have the same strength.

Pretty interesting.
If that is true, then Mario will kill Falco at lower percents since he is lighter.

I say the most udnerstandable by people is 55:45 Falco. Some people think 60:40 Falco and I think it could be even, but that is the most agreed on.

Mario has great juggle ability and good attack speed and can reflect. Also since Falco's UpB has time to charge Mario could go in for the spike attack, if he's fast enough, or he could just use FLUDD to keep him from recovery.

Falco has his Projectile witch could be hard for Mario to get pass but then again Mario has a reflector to. Falco is a better jumper and his attacks are also fast and seems to have more reach then Mario's.
