Wut?Wow, you can hax a game to make you play better.
It has nothing to do with making them better. They are just making the game more offensive. Way to accuse people of haxing without knowing what you're talking about.Wow, you can hax a game to make you play better.
The developers made it the way it was for a reason. Why not enjoy it for what it is? I enjoy melee & both brawl. But I don't hax em. L-cancel was a glitch in melee, and they fixed it. You hax a game so you can exploit a glitch? Geeeeee. It has nothing to do with making them better. They are just making the game more offensive. Lol, still clinging to those guns? L-canceling was a toned down version of S-canceling from SSB64. The only thing that could be argued to be a glitch would be wavedashing, which still remains unknown. They modified the game to make it play better in a more competitive environment. You have no right to attack people for playing the way they want to play. That's the whole reason why the competitive vs. casual argument will never end. Just drop it.The developers made it the way it was for a reason. Why not enjoy it for what it is? I enjoy melee & both brawl. But I don't hax em. L-cancel was a glitch in melee, and they fixed it. The developers made Brawl the way it is to tell competitive gamers to f**k off. Why should we care whats intended? And L-cancel wasn't a glitch at ALL. It was a modified version of "Smooth Landing" from SSB64.The developers made it the way it was for a reason. Why not enjoy it for what it is? I enjoy melee & both brawl. But I don't hax em. Let's stop spamming up their thread. I'm sending you a PM.lol you guys are obviously ******* who can't handle other peoples opinions.
And now you are just trolling.lol you guys are obviously ******* who can't handle other peoples opinions.
That's exactly what I typed. I did not say anything of the sort of what you believed I said. I mentionted the fact, that he can hack a game (change it), to make the characters he played as, play better. I didn't degrade him in anyway what so ever.Wow, you can hax a game to make you play better.
You guys are the ones attacking if anything. To say that l-cancelling and/or any similiar button techniques not developed on purpose by the developers is a sign of aggressive ignorance. You know it is, but since it's widely used by everyone you don't consider it a glitch. lol I'm not trolling, I'm stating the truth. It's all my opinion anyways. You can just ignore me if you'd like. Or reply in a endless argument in where you cannot make me change my opinion. Picked up, and dropped again. We can't handle idiots who come into threads saying crap like "you need hax to be good", "play the game as it is" and "L-cancel was a glitch" It shows ignorance and idiocy.
I don't care.Let's stop spamming up their thread. I'm sending you a PM.
That's why I said it got a little serious.Brawl wasn't meant for seriousness. That's what melee is for.![]()
I'm sorry but L canceling is not a bug... When any company tests a new game the first thing they do is go over their old DB and regress any possible issues. They also check the current known bugs found after release on the old platform. SSB 64 had cancels too, so you know it was the first thing checked before they did any ad-hoc testing. I wouldn't even be surprised if they had test cases made to check for all known issues at release. Wavedashing may in fact be a bug, but we will not know that for sure.First of all, you're overreacting and taking this way to seriously. I could care less what you think is considerred a glitch and what is not. L-cancelling, wavedashing, etc. They are all things that the developers didn't intend to put in the game. They corrected it with brawl, changed up the game so people wouldn't be so easily exploited w/ endless barrages of 0-to-kill combo's. I wasn't attacking his playing preferrence at all. In fact, I'd like to play Brawl + myself. Taken, stirred, and dropped.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5B-0DzLJVHoBrawl+ makes the game less exciting IMO after watching the videos. Just watching people float in the air when they could be dodging makes it seem stupid. Still fun to watch but makes it seem really slow pace. =/
Really? You guys are the ones attacking if anything. To say that l-cancelling and/or any similiar button techniques not developed on purpose by the developers is a sign of aggressive ignorance. Who's attacking who?ChronoTrigga said:The developers made it the way it was for a reason. Why not enjoy it for what it is? I enjoy melee & both brawl. But I don't hax em. L-cancel was a glitch in melee, and they fixed it. You hax a game so you can exploit a glitch? Geeeeee.
It wasn't Melee vs. Brawl. It's some idiot calling L-cancel a glitch and we shouldn't hack.lol Melee vs. Brawl debate within two pages.
I suppose brawl+ matches are fun to watch (not necessarily better than reg. Brawl matches), but they're never something I would want to do myself.
It's not an opinion because it is a FACT that L-canceling was intentional.Oh yeah, I'm sure the developers wanted to put in landing lag only to have it cancelled by a single button press. That's certainly not a glitch. You're the one's getting all butthurt over my opinion/truth. You also the one's who are demeaning, calling my posts "Stupid" and "Ignorant" when I'm just trying to state my opinion on the matter. I'm not saying this to "Troll" you either, if you can't see that then ignore my posts.
They have it on the freaking Japanese site for SSB64 as "Smooth Landing". And you are ignoring that in Melee, it was modified to reduce half of lag (64's canceled ALL lag). If you can't accept that L-cancel was intentional, I'm gonna follow Skyshrouds example. So they have it in the instruction manual that you can cancel landing lag by shielding before you hit the ground? Must have skipped that part. Kinda makes it pointless to put any landing lag in the game at all.
Read the manual and you will find it.So they have it in the instruction manual that you can cancel landing lag by shielding before you hit the ground? Must have skipped that part. Kinda makes it pointless to put any landing lag in the game at all.
And to think this is just the startBrawl just got a little more serious.
