Despite him NOT being in D/E (mid) tier, that's our fault. He's at top of low now, which means the SBR has acknowledged that Mario dominates the low/bottom tier. What we need to do now is show that Mario can go toe-to-toe with the rest of the cast and win consistently. Which means, we need to start going to tournaments.

Let's try our hardest to get Mario in his rightful tier spot.

I don't see how the SBR thinks that Mario has a 4.56/15 rating. That's just silly. I disagree a lot with that tier list, but Mario and Sonic not being mid tier are probably the two biggest 'durr hurr hurr' mistakes on there.

He should be mid tier, he's not bad enough for low tier, but writing this stuff down and proving it are two vastly different things. We need to start going to Tourney's like Hero said, and start proving what Mario can do.

The Link Boards posted the list then how +/- each character moved. You can go there and compare it as the overall 1-37 placings if you want. I did and it gave me a better understanding of it, kinda.

Seriously the main competition for top of low or bottom of mid is Ness vs Mario.

More like certain characters just have broken recoveries in Brawl. Gimping is still a big factor for match-ups.

True, but it was basically a Diddy used to his full potential vs. one of the best MKs (especially because it's Mew2King's) and Diddy won. It may have only been one match, but it showed that Diddy can counter Metaknight using the peel for mindgames.

Anyway, good to see that Mario went up. He should still be a bit higher, though.
