For those of you who haven't played this series, consider yourselves simultaneously lucky and unlucky. Unlucky because in terms of gameplay they are both great games, ridiculously fun. Lucky because they are also ****ING HATES YOU HARD

Mario Vs Donkey Kong is a much less well known/talked about series in terms of mario games, so for those who have never played it(Im sure there's a few of you) here's a vid of what it looks like:

Getting all 3 boxes(or something, I can't remember) on all the levels was incredibly difficult, especially due to the time restraints. I remember needing to be like, frame perfect to barely complete a level with all 3 of them with only 1 second left. So much rage was had.

But it's such a fun game, I put up with it. :D

Needs this for the first post since several of the enemies from this game AND several songs used in Mario vs. Donkey Kong originate from here, plus it's a very similar plot so it should be considered part of the series.

Does anyone else think this is the awesomest hurry up theme in a video game ever? (Also in Mario vs. Donkey Kong, but that has a less epic remix)

Also this is my favorite boss theme ever (which is from this series)

It's a fun game, but man was the second one tough. It's nerve wrenching as everything has to be perfect to get a good score...

Definitely one of the most underrated mario series. Like everyone has said though, the games were a pain at times

He's not dead. lol

He's actually appeared quite "recently" he was a main character in Game & Watch Gallery 4 from 2002. Although interestingly that game never was released in Japan.

^ This. It's pretty much officially part of the series because like I said Mario vs. Donkey Kong has several songs and enemies that had only appeared in Donkey Kong '94, plus it involves the same style of gameplay.
