Ermm... Luigi doesn't have a Utilt lock, so I'm not sure what you're talking about here. Either you got some misinformation or the people you are playing suck horribly and don't know what R/L do.

...How can you forget to use the tornado with a jump...? How can you just forget something so basic like that???

This post fills me with confusion O_O

You're gonna have to change your approach. Short Hopping Two Aerials, or Short Hop Aerial Fast Fall Buffer will be what you use to approach most of the time. You don't NEED to jump for the Rising Cyclone, but it does help. Without the jump, you have to tap B much faster to get the same amount of rise. Still, it'll be something you get used to.

i think he means u-tilit juggling but he could mean the semi f-tilit lock idk.

about the rising tornado you dont have to jump it just means your pretty much guaranteed full height as of now i can get about 3/4 full height without jump which is still pretty good.

What is U-air/ Semi F-tilt lock?? Or just what is a lock?
A lock is getting your enemy stuck in a situation where they cannot react to your moves; kinda like a chaingrab...but without the grabbing. The best example is to pick falco and go to a level with a wall. Knock your enemy up so they fall down on the ground. Start spamming lasers; they won't be able to get out of it (if you did it right). Locks don't have to be on alls though, but thats where they are there best. I consider the U-tilt/f-tilts semi-locks, since they are un DIable the first few times but then the enemy can get out.

you know something ive never asked about is this "10whatevers" at the end of posts ive never had any idea what it means???

10lolwuts
It is when your post is less the 10 characters, and you can't do that, so when you have a short post you would write "10charlimit"at the end, but people put different words in there to be funny I guess. It's just for fun. 10____'s
I had the same question when I was new.

And you'll also get an infraction for doing 10chars.

Anyways, Luigi and Mario are totally different.
Forward smash, Luigis comes out much faster and kills at lower percentages.
Down Smash, kind of the same but Mario's has more KB
Upsmash, basically the same, only minor differences

Uptilt, luigi doesnt have a tilt lock, mario does =/
F-tilt, both are used for spacing and a little %
Dtilt, Luigis is better for setting up fire punches, marios is for who knows whats.

Up b. Luigi has a super fire punch. Nuff said
Down B: Luigis down B is better for recovery, marios is better for gimping
Side B: Luigis is good for damage and recovery, marios is for gimping/reflecting projectiles
B: Marios has more priority, much more spammable.

Aerials:

Not gonna get into it, but luigis aerials > mario

Marios up b has invincibilty frames that get him out of tilt locks and rapid jabs. Luigi can string together a bunch of utilts........not sure if it's considered a lock but you can always get 2-3 off at lower percentages.

For me, Mario is just too... ehh... average.

I like Luigi more. Better air game, Fsmash pwns n00bs, and pretty much everything about Luigi is superior.

And you gotta love his taunts.

Mario's UpB has an INSANE hitbox as well, coupled with the fact that it comes out so fast, it makes for a great tool to get your enemy out of your face. Luigi may have better aerials, but Mario's weight makes his SHFFed aerials a little better. A Mario with Fludd can make for some near foxlike SHaerials lol.

Mario has a different superiority, not damage building or aerial, but edge guarding. Mario's b moves are what really differentiate him from his bro. Down angled fireball, cape, fludd. Its just a different game style.

Luigi is top tier in taunting. :)

Meh, Marios probably a little bit better off the stage but Luigi can go all over the place offstage. Sure Mario is built more for edgeguarding, but Luigi imo is one of the best in the game as well.

Oh yeah, Luigi is better overall no question. I was just clarifying because Mario is a better offstage character.

Luigi is garbage offstage imo. Lol I swear to god please mod someone close this sh**t. I have a feeling a flame war is about to break out. Oh and mario is a damage building, aerialist specialist just as well as luigi.

Nope you got it the wrong way.

Luigi=Mario.

, just joking. I agree with all the posts in here, and Luigi is way different then Mario, in my opinion.
