There's a rule that says, "Make 10 oddball predictions about something, and at least one of them will come true." This is what this topic is about.
You are going to predict 10 things you think will happen in Brawl, however, they have to be longshot predictions with very slim chances of actually happening. You can't predict stuff that can be considered a safe bet (like ANYTHING that was in Melee) or stuff that is too popular (like the top characters in Sakurai's poll like Geno, Ridley or Megaman).
On the same vein, you can't predict stuff that has no chance of happening whatsoever. No predictions like "Naruto will be playable" or characters that were never on a Nintendo console. They're violations of Sakurai's conditions.
In short, make predictions that have less than a 1% of happening but CAN happen according to Sakurai's rules. Then, when the game is out and everything revealed, we'll see how many here where right so people can brag about how "they called it".
My longshot predictions:
- Marina (Mischief Makers) will be a playable character.
- Crono (Chrono Trigger) will be a playable character.
- Mawile (Pokemon) will be a playable character.
- There's going to be a "Shiny Pokemon Catcher" bonus, triggered by throwing a pokeball with a Shiny Pokemon inside. (The odds of this happening are lower than getting a Celebi in Melee)
- There are going to be exactly 42 playable characters.
- The Koopalings are going to be in the game in some way.
- Sonic's stage is going to be a giant pinball machine.
- There are going to be exactly six playable Pokemon characters. (Pokemon Trainer counts as one, then Pikachu, Jigglypuff, Mewtwo, a 3rd gen, and a 4th gen).
- Adventure mode will be able to be played with each character separately, and depending on the character you use the stages and quests change. If you play as Bowser or Ganondorf, you'll be playing from the villian's POV.
- There's going to be a music theme for each character created exclusively for this game.
Now you go.
