Since when?
If we each gain 10 scum points for coasting, I end up on 10 points but you end up on 110 points. Furthermore me doing something doesnt make it ok for you to do it too, especially if its something you know to be scummy. Yes what I said may have been hypocritical but that doesn't make the point any less valid.

"The playstyle he is describing is wrong."
No, it's not. It's just a Metaphor.

A guru is not only somebody who's in possession of wisdom and knowledge but also somebody who appears to be on a "higher level" to the point where people fail to understand him and have to draw their own conclusion from erratic utterances - if you like, you can compare it to Rafiki, from the Lion King. He's highly regarded for his wisom and knowledge but oftentimes people have no idea what he's trying to get at and if he ever bothers to explain you wouldn't get much out of that either. Whether you realize it or not [I believe you do] that's exactly the image you have invoked. In fact, I'm not even the only who thinks so because mentos agreed with my stance on your play way earlier in the game and the terminology didn't seem bother him at all. On the contrary, if you look at his latest posts he seems to agree. So you can't just say that I'm wrong and leave it at that.

OS your playstyle is what I like to call jester style. You intentionally present false reads so that people will see how wrong you are and want to lynch you. I know this because I can read your mind and see that you don't just simply have bad reads, but you have hidden motives to it.

Also don't look up what a jester is because it has nothing to do with what a jester play style is.

"Gova, why haven't you responded to me yet? Just curious."
Ah, I've been reading Homestuck lol.

Anyways, is there something particular you want my thoughts on about 256? It doesn't really stand out to me that much, like I probably wouldn't lynch him off that but I can see where you're getting your scum vibe from if there you are getting one. I personally don't think Kuz/FF/DH are all scum based on their interactions unless their gameplan was like to distance themselves in something akin to a triangle where DH votes Kuz, Kuz votes FF, and FF votes DH.

Adum: odd vibe. Does it really take this much time to catch up?

Frozen: zen's attack on him is legit. Frozen has been saying inaccurate facts in some of his defenses. Doesn't give me a townie vibe

Unvote maybe Gheb was right

I've linked to quick topics in the past so I'm sure you could have read that elsewhere.

STill think kuz is a worthwhile lynch toDay.

This game is suffering from an activity plague. We need moar prods. Also, this leaves us with an activity policy that we need to enforce that is kind of bad for us either way. If we don't lynch inactives, we'll lose in the endgame. If we lynch inactives all the time, we get no information.

Everyone is now inactive, so... let's get going.

After reading and catching up with days of content, I don't feel any better about Zen, nor do I see anyone worse than him. Also, there is so little to comment on people are reducing conversation again to random ques they made up to hope to get something...

Also would every stop talking about Jester Play? It makes absolutely no sense when the mod confirmed that there are no Jesters in the game.

Uhg, still like 3 or 4 days till the deadline :/

Really sorry about my ****ty activity, schoolwork and other games have been captivating all my attention. Not to mention I hate/suck at D1 analysis.

If things get worse I might need to ask Rockin for replacement. However, I will try to stay in if I can help it. I will still probably re-read and have a post up before the deadline.

Seriously Chibo, this is like the 3rd time that you're having issues with a jester even though everybody knows there is none in this game...lol

I know what Jester play is

However without a jester in the game, there is no need to compare anyone's play to a jester as it would be a null tell

What am I missing, I'm so (constantly) confused

...

I know that, but it doesn't mean anything since there is no jester

So who cares if someone is playing like a jester, it's a null tell

It's like telling someone in a basketball game you're playing like a football player... so?

So, deadline in 3 days. I'm pretty much with Gheb here though that more than half the group seems like a viable lynch, in large part because there's nothing to go on from them>_> At this point my inclination is to push DH or Zen up to claim-time and get a flip to hopefully spark the game a little(those two in particular have been talked about a lot, and would give a decent set of connections compared to most, and are probably the only two who have really stood out during the day)

Anyone opposed to me screen capturing a randomizer and picking our lynch out of people that aren't posting?

If we agree beforehand, I can record my screen (with clock showing), make a post while recording saying I'm about to do the randomizer thing, then randomizing the list.

Of course this gives us absolutely no information but a completely arbitrary flip and only gives us a random chance of hitting scum but a much more likely chance of hitting town (plus scum is more likely to be active anyway so hardy har we got ourselves some clues already), but if we get stuck on a lynch between a bunch of people no one knows anything about it could be a good way to make a decision and prevent any sort of wiggle room. :B

But for srs, we shouldn't do that.

The problem with the inactivity is the amount of replacement we may end up needing ... if adum, J, Tom and Frozen are all replaced out we'll either going to have modkillls [bad for town unless we're lucky] or have to deal with the fact that 3-4 players haven't really been talked about at that much ... it's a lose / lose situation because lynching them gives us not a lot of information. But lynching somebody more active might just backfire.

I'm more inclined to lynch an inactive player at the moment but I'm not sure yet.

I am back from V/LA now and will be re-reading making a post tonight.

Only 8 pgs though? Huh that's unique.

Age old rule:

If you have to do something that isn't pleasing, do it fast.

Pull out the tooth quickly.

Lynch the inactive on D1.

Better than waiting until we've lynched people that actually posted.

On the other hand, scum is more likely to be active so we could always just lynch people that post :B

I'll wait till you get all caught up and see what you have to say J, questions may follow if I feel there's something that needs commented on that wasn't.

Oh, and I've been forgetting to ask this: DH, what was the reasoning for picking me to be the one not commented on in response to X1?
