MA Player Finder: Gettin' back on the Map!

Ok, so in the last 6-8 months MA has fallen almost completely off of the national map. With the exception of DJ and Marcus **** near none of the big names once associated with this state are still active in the community in any form of large scale. Most noteably the Turtles. This NEEDS TO CHANGE! We were once a power in the smash scene and have fallen off considerably. Personally, I hate losing, and this past wkend showed me that I need more practice. But playing by myself isn't gunna cut it and we all know that. We need to all get together on a semi-regular basis and improve the skill of the state as a whole, not just one or two ppl. This means I need the help of everyone out there. If you wanna get together more regularly and get better, post here. We can organize small tournaments here and there, and have smashfests from time to time. But not playing together anymore isn't gunna help us. We need to re-establish ourselves as a power in the reagion and eventually in the nation.

Alright so I get the honors to post first.

I'm from Worcester, (about 15-20 minutes from WhiteMage). I go to WPI. There are definitely some decent players here at WPI.

Anyway I'm willing to travel a little bit as well as hold some smashfests, whether its on the weekend or an afternoon/evening deal on a weekday. Anything works for me unless I have a lot of school work that day. But that doesn't mean you can't play other people at WPI.

I want more smashfests, and I'll give out more personal training to any of the more serious smashers out there that are willing to step it up to the MAX!

The turtles are literally the turtles at this point. They are taking a slow and steady pace to the finish line. I'm sure they will step it up, and I know that there are going to more tournaments.

Don't forget AZNI. They were my first crew, and they are trying their best to try to step it up.

Remember Jinx and Bob BANG? I played them recently, and they still are up with their game. They haven't gone rusty at all, and I am having high hopes about them still. They can still make a nasty comeback.

Man, I agree completely with all of you. KDJ, MMFE3 turned me into a serious smasher. After seeing how much better than me all of you were, I've been trying my hardest to step my game up. Smashfests and tournies are the only way I can do this but I don't have the ability to travel like the rest of you. If ANYONE is in or around Boston College please let me know! In the meantime, I'll try to get to any MA tourney I can.

I'm from Worcester and we are definitely looking to have any Smashfests whenever pretty much. Afternoon/Evening on weekdays are good, unless we have exams the next day. And weekends are usually good unless we are gonna hit up a tourny.

Also no smashfests during the Pats game.

Wednesdays are a great day for the WPI Crew to get together for any Smashfest. Most of us have no classes at all and those that do its in the morning, so we pretty much have all afternoon and evening.

i think newton is around 30 min from lexington actually but thats not that far really for like smashfests and stuff, theres a T station about 15 minutes away from here i think, im pretty bad at knowing distances and where things are though so i wouldnt take my word as being absolute fact lol.

The BU tournement was fun. I need to play more and get much better. I got third, but still, my skills are nowhere close to korean or marcus. Alex is really good now too, but got unlucky with the pool match up. I'm sure he would have beaten me if I was faced up agisnt him.

We need to all get together and just play and improve.
