Lucario's best and worst stage

Good general counterpicks are Luigi's Mansion, Frigate Orpheon, and Jungle Japes. The worst ones I can think of would be Corneria and Green Greens.
That's just general, though. You still wouldn't ever want to take a MK to Luigi's or anything like that.

I actually like FD for Lucario (this isn't the case for any of the other characters that I play except maybe Falco), sometimes Smashville, Halberd or Frigate. Jungle Japes and Luigi's Mansion are usually banned in my state, so they don't apply. FD leaves lots of room for camping, and dair will stage spike on Smashville's edges. You can do some cool uthrow combos with Battlefield's platforms, too, and you get those same edges.
You really do want to avoid Corneria, though. Lucario doesn't have any use for the low ceiling. This is sometimes my ban, but I also hate Yoshi's Island (that's for personal reasons though, it's not a particularly bad stage for Lucario). I really don't like Lylat either, the stage tilt tends to **** with my spacing and can be disruptive to recovery at times.
In short, just stay on flat stages, Lucario doesn't really benefit from any gimmicks.

You may want to avoid Battlefield for a few reasons:
1) It's easier to kill you at low percentages. Not good for Lucario; he NEEDS to live.
2) No place to Extremespeed into Wall Cling. Well, there is, but it's extremely difficult to reach.
Really, I enjoy Final Destination. And, of course, Luigi's Mansion (though I don't like the stage, it's amazing for Lucario.)
