Yeah, I just hope that she is better vs ICs, and it would be cool if she was at least a tiny bit less gay... In the PAL version in melee she is a little less cheap IMO.

it's on then ryan! haha I'll take your roy too, at least roy has only like 4 moves that have knockback. fighting marth w/ G&W is a *****, every time I approach I get knocked away by every move he has. I can at least crouch cancel most of what roy has :p

I'll be sure to call you next time we play. I expect we will either play friday night or maybe get an early start on the tourney but probably not.

falco isn't as gay in pal either, he only spikes w/ his foot in it. NTSC he spikes w/ his whole body...ghey!

yeah man linguini was a beast, too bad he had to play shiek.

smashfest today possibly, jake wanted to play and I'm done with my homework. ima go eat.

I'm willing to Smash today, but I don't really feel like going to anybody's house. If you guys wanna smash over here, I'm down, but if it's too much of a hassle just go ahead without me =).

Ok soooo not sure what Pmatt was actually saying but yeah...... However, I did go to your room a couple times if you'll recall Andrew. Well wait that was when you were on campus. You do live in a gated apartment complex, ok that's just an excuse. Anyway, I never said I wasn't lazy. The lazy part wasn't really the emphasis there. My point was why would the majority of people have to go to one persons house when the one person could just come here where the majority already is? Don't give me that privilege for lesser players crap either. Ryan is in no way that great, and even if he was, that's a terrible attitude.

lol I dont see what the big deal is. we all had fun. it isn't like this happens all the time. jake and I were bored so we went to ryan's and suddenly everyone is mad about it.



Edit: tech announce wasn't posted because the tech gaming league didn't renew the registration for this semester.



anyone want to make our own gaming league or something so we can make tech announces?

Postpone the tournament. It would be better if we had one big tournament rather then a crappy smashfest on Saturday. If you can, post it in Tech Announcement sooner so we can hype it up a bit. We can bring food and drinks to get more people.

also we may as well have the smashfest I mean I already have the room reserved. unless you guys would rather just play at someones house or something I dunno. also people are probably going home for the weekend because it is a 3 day weekend. I know my roomate is.


what does everyone think?

I vote we have the smashfest there since we've reserved the room and all. So how do we go about "making" an organization? Do we just start going around calling ourselves the "Smash Club" or something? What all would we have to do to be a "recognized" organization, and what kind of time drain would it impose?

Funnily enough, when I made the Tech Announce two or three tournaments ago, I don't think I wrote "TGL" anywhere in the description.

this is the guidelines for making an organization.

only hard part is writing the constitution or whatever. I could make it really simple and make president & 2 VPs (3 people required for an organization) that can dictate what happens just to make things really simple.

i dont care what happens w/ constitution but if I end up writing it it'll be short and simple...heh.


edit: also I'm bored so if anyone wants to do anything call me up.

Awwww man!!! I didn't even pay attention to that on the smashbros site... I still thought it was February 10th or whatever! Also, I seem to recall one time Nintendo promising Brawl in 07! ...*******s..

umm you are a 5hr drive away from us hoopla... you sure you want to come? if you are that intent on playing just get directions to texas tech, the tourney will be on campus. really you should just stick to the dallas scene though...at the very worst tourneys there will be about an hour away for you.

edit: turnout sucked but again was expected.


I'll make a ssb organization and run it so next time I can use tech announce. once the organization gets accepted and I'm able to do a tech announce I'll post up info on the next tourney.

Yeah... That's what I was thinking, I heard his Falcon has been doing crappy for him, he needs to train back ups, it is too easy to kill Falcon. I just wonder who he lost to...

Xelic and Forward... Both were extremely close, and I think Roy usually beats Xelic. In any case Falco and Peach are some of his worst match ups being a Falcon player. Xelic went Peach all three rounds, and Forward went Falco both or his. I watched all of them on youtube. The one VS Forward is fun to watch.
