There is character development (even just a bit) in the Mario RPGs.
And, it kind of got obvious after the 12th time of kidnapping that the mistake is not being made by Peach. :laugh:

Ridley under that rough exterior is just a fragile dragon with a crush. That or maybe he's the most hateful battle driven character who might be in the game who knows.

I don't see it as a "love relationship" but for some reason I can really see Pika being helded by Zero suit like he is her pet (^_^).

Well for Revaira's sake I'll root for a Mario/Peach/Bowser love triangle to appear. lol I will say though I did get the feeling that Bowser was kidnapping Peach in an attempt to spare her the same fate as the rest of the universe in Super Mario Galaxy. Even the way he treats Mario seems to nod towards Bowser's diary from "Paper Mario".

lol, I'm just messing with ya. If we saw any character development, it would most likely be through the Mario franchise anyway. And if this is the case the Bowser angle is pretty plausible.

"Furry" has become the term for 'anthropomorphians' on the internet. People don't know the FULL meaning of it. It's applying human elements to an otherwise non-human creature, phenomena or object. So Optimus Prime, who is a machine with a clearly human figure is also an anthropomorphian. We wouldn't consider him a furry, but by modern standards that IS what people are supposedly implying...

Isn't this a subject about love interests in SSE? Something tells me this won't happen. It doesn't in Super Mario, it doesn't in Zelda, it doesn't in a lot of popular Nintendo games. So I don't think it will happen here as well.

It does plenty, but it tends to stay away from major characters where it stays to small tidbits and nothing more than a comment or a one-sided crush on one of the main characters by a minor one. (An exception would be Bowser's crush on Peach, which is explicitly implied and brought over repetitively in the Mario RPGs and successively marrying her in SPM although by force) I'm saying we might, but nothing more than what we see usually - which is actually plenty compared to a lot of video game series.

That's the thing. Love Interest doesn't have to be all mushy and romantic. It can add some comedy to the game too.
