Hi, Im new on this website and i have no idea if im in the right place but has anyone notice whenever you keep winning on Basic Brawl one or more of your opponents have to pick the same character as you did? and sometimes they attempt to gangbang you, what is up with that? lol

Cuz doin' that makes em' feel that they're 10x better than you since they beat you with your own character

By trying to show that they're better at, say, Wolf than you are

That somehow makes em' feel more accomplished

Its called a taunt party if they just attack you look it up in the online discussion=)
and idk why the pick the same char as ._. do they knoe yur using that character?

Brawl's online free for all mode is full of happy campers, spammers, and item noobs. It's not worth the frustration, just play with a few friends in friend mode.

Why the **** would anyone play online anyway? You press a button and 2 minutes later the move comes out.

I guess that doesn't matter for brawl anyway since all you need to do is spam A with Metaknight.

It's called a taunt party. That's why I always use friends mode instead of with anyone mode. And I think they pick the same characters as other people because they think they're better at using the character or something like that

Thanks but i wasn't talking about taunt party, im talking about when you fight everybody in a free for all and when you keep winning one of your opponents pick your character that you kept winning with.

but the part where they gang up on you when you attack them helped ^^

Maybe Its Because They Want To Prove To U That They Can Beat Uwith Your Own Character U Use Because I Do That With Mario And I Always Beat The Other People That Use Mario At The Same Time

I find it more better to play with friends rather then anonymous due to the fact the outside world is crazy. It's in human nature that we always want to win and if you keep being on top they will relentlessly atk you by any means to get their satisfaction. So don't waste your time in a 2min brawl and make friends O: Its more fun :S

It's a good thing there isn't melee online. Basic Melee would just be a bunch of foxes and falcons trying to team up and wombo combo everyone.

It’s a shame that such a wonderful game like Brawl has such a horribly bad on-line community. People on-line are so cheap that they literally drain all the fun out of the game. Why in the world would anyone waste their time playing an on-line game if they’re going to run away the whole time?! Those must be the same guys that rage quit in Super Street Fighter IV when they’re getting their arse whipped.

When everybody in an on-line Brawl match puts fourth their best effort to win and the match isn’t laggy it’s pure ecstasy. What a shame that those kinds of matches don’t happen very often.
