OK, now that I COMPLETELY finished 5ive's requests, I can work on everyone else's, but first, yours.

Fisrt of all: Do you have the following?
1: Homebrew Channel installed on your Wii
2: Gecko 1.9 in your apps folder on your SD card
3: A SD card that works with Brawl
4: gameconfig.txt on your Wii

If you have those things, tell me. Either way, tell me, and I will help you out.

I have homebrew all the hacks etc. I've done stage,costume and all that stuff. I just never did the music hack before I did make the folders though.

Number 4 puzzles me too.

Alright, so with Gecko 1.8 and up, you can have 8000+ lines of code when you have a .txt file in the root of your SD card called gameconfig.txt.

Download it here: http://brkirch.googlepages.com/gameconfig.zip

Unzip it and put it in the root of your SD card.

Take the code at the beginning of my thread, and put it in a .gct file. Then, load it via Gecko (you have 8000 lines, remember? :) ) and any other codes that you are using. Then, load, and play with your music!

BTW: the music files (.brstm files) go in the following directory:

X:/private/wii/app/RSBE/pf/Sound/Strm/

and then the .brstm's

What do I name the file if there are 2 custom songs on FD and such?

EDIT: T01.brstm in the rar file is corrupt.

THAT is what you look at for naming stuff. In the list of stuf that I gave you for your .rar thing, I had a list of stages. So, for Final Des. for example, you can just move on to the next value (not the ones that you already have done).

Try out T03 though, and then the next one for Final Des.

You can't rename it, because in order to rename that file, you must extract it. When I try to extract it, an error comes up saying it is corrupt.

What song is on T01 anyways?

Rename the file to Y05 (for Boss Battle), W31 (for Giga Bowser), or N05 (for Roost)

This song is too great to NOT have it be the single and only choice for the most lifeless stage in the game.

I loaded the code as a gct. saved everything accordingly. and it never played the songs. i will try some other stuff and see if i didn't do the code right, but i'm sure i did because I can load my snapshots perfectly.

It must be the File Patch code and then the Snapshot Loader code IN THAT ORDER. Do not make me explain why -.-

Try it out then.
