lolthe difference in lag between monitors always messes up my Bombslide timings :[.
So just me? It's only an issue when I want to do it from standing instead of already running. Even with hand warmers before every match on some setups I'm not comfortable at all.
I feel you on this. I usually do a button check to get used to the lag difference, which usually works. So just me? It's only an issue when I want to do it from standing instead of already running. Even with hand warmers before every match on some setups I'm not comfortable at all.
You can't do a bombslide from standing; unlike in Brawl, you need to get into the dash animation first. So just me? It's only an issue when I want to do it from standing instead of already running. Even with hand warmers before every match on some setups I'm not comfortable at all.
That's probably why the lag difference is an issue as I am likely doing it before the dash animation commences. If you need to start a full on run before doing a Bombslide it really reduces how useful it is.You can't do a bombslide from standing; unlike in Brawl, you need to get into the dash animation first.
anyway brb ima add canada and update
I know you don't have to be full-on running. What I meant was that with the difference in lag between monitors the only way to ensure it's a Bombslide was to do a full-on run which really reduces how useful Bombslides are.Essentially, in order to do a dash throw you need to have dashed longer than the initial dash, which is different to the rest of the dash, which then transitions into a run. So no, you don't need to be full-on running. I'm sure I've checked the frames before but I've forgotten.
