i play with a variety of characters and i wanna start wit link
i know the basics pretty much
but how do u slide into links up smash?

Tap forward or during the Dash -> Down C-Stick -> immediately tap Z

Also notice that it's abbreviated DAC for Dash Attack Cancel... you'll see a lot of references to DAC around here without specifying what it stands for.

Actually for the DAC, you can do any direction other than up on the C-Stick. I watched this "Advanced Techniques for Snake" vid and it showed snake dashing which pretty much is DAC (is DAC) and the video said that you hit any other direction on the C-Stick other than up. Sometimes it's easier because down and up at the same time is a bit confusing for me.
