Well that's because of his size. Meta knights attacks come out and are drawn back quick. Roy is tall and if you see the video, you will know what I mean.

I think Roy will definitely be able to stand out. I think he might be on par with Marth in this game. His recovery's got me a little hesitant but that's something I can deal with. It's always been bad anyways. But it looks like his fighting abilities are definitely pretty solid.

So going by this, I really don't see Sakurai patching out the bombslide. Like he put in so much extra effort to make a character literally made to be played on a competitive level with ATs - why would he get rid of an AT that doesn't break the game? At this point, it would seem like that removing bombslides would be out of character for Sakurai.

But it also seems entirely out of Sakurai's character to create a non-clone character that was previously a clone, and a character you're supposed to lab.

So I don't know. My greatest hope is that he realized his mistake of removing jab canceling from literally one character. But my greatest worry is that he'll get rid of something that makes link fun to play - like the bombslide.

As far as dreamland goes, though - does anyone else think that the wind boxes generated by the stage might be able to set up a SAF?

Roy looks more Ganon-ified than Luigi-fied. He seems to be a stronger Marth with less range and floaty-ness (which isn't a good thing imo).
Ryu looks cool and it's hard to say how good he will be. The lack of mobility and bad recovery could really hurt him.
Lucas looks like he'll be a high tier with Ness. His game suits SSB4's mechanics.

I don´t think Ryu's recovery is that bad, from what I have read he can spinkick>shoryuken. Also we need to see how well the enhanced version of those moves work.

Vertically it's Mac tier or worse but his horizontal is decent to good it seems

You really don't know what you're talking about. remember Toss Canceling? How did that break the game? Also, Sakurai hates ATs and competitive gameplay tot he point of saying that it's a waste and that if you prefer that kind of gameplay you should go play other fighting games, not a party game.

On a side note, I wanted to make a quick announcement about the MU threads.
MU threads are meant for tournament level discussion, and the one who makes the thread is expected to actually have something to contribute throughout based on experience, and experience won't be possible until you've played the matchup in an offline situation for a decent amount of time. I'm sure that many of us would greatly appreciate it if everyone kept this in mind. Thank you.

Well guys time to wait 2 hrs. for Nintendo servers to clear up 3 minutes for update another 10-30 min getting eshop card 5 redeeming it 10 min to download all characters and 5 min to prepare snacks and everything to destroy FG scrub ryu roy and lucas, with my god tier lucas gameplay on 3DS

Guys, Dthrow's knockback... Is straight up now, with very little knockback growth on higher percents. No true combos it appears, but it's not a perfect trap for airdodge / double jump / attack reading, must be amazing kill set-up.

Less lag when grab misses.
