light-shield gentleman

i've heard this is a sure-fire way to do a gentleman as fast as possible, anyone know how, though?

A-A-Z No timing necessary. There's been alot of threads on it.

Gotta hold the Z.

AAZ. The light shield pops up after the lag of the gentlemen. But it's great because you can easily cancel out of the shield with a jump, wavedash, or roll.

yes. i use AAA+Z.
let the shield come up then immediately jump\wavedash out or leave it on if necessary
i am able to constantly do the gentlemen using this technique thingy

A, A, Hold A UNTIL HE RETURNS TO NEUTRAL POSITION. or shield after you hold A.
First two A have to hit. Press as fast as possible.

There are tons of methods and many claim they work. I personally use AAZ but I used to use AA(A+Z) in which there was no shield. There is no solid evidence on why the gentlemen works or why it doesn't. AAZ is the most definite method, it's only side effect is the light shield.

thanks man i've pretty much got it down now.. this is great for getting opponent's off of you.

i'm just practicing WDing out of the lightshield, but i'm sure i'll get that down too eventually.
