Well, they were two good members. Not saying that the quality of the room has fallen specifically because of them. Only that various things have happened in the last year.

Not saying that the DR can't get better, but we need the premium membership back online as there's a need for new members.

2009~2011 phase, smashboards has had a HUGE overall in moderation, and is very tolerant of threads used simply for social interaction now. back in the day you pretty much had to be on topic, you couldn't talk about just whatever. those kinds of threads weren't even allowed in the pool room. now this place is mad chill, and people are only infracted/warned/banned if it's outright misconduct. i like it

Also, I think the swf anniversary seemed more cooler than DR.
Even though I was never there, It's good.

Fortunately I could cope with it since I still had 4chan and gamefaqs to post on.

Including the huge family of staff this site has gained since, there's been a lax attitude for moderation that allows a strong feeling of comfort when posting. Good change.

Now if only there was a room that conducted itself much like 4chan SFW boards, I'd be here all day.
